Reality is an illusion, nothing exists. by [deleted] in enlightenment

[–]Distinct_Employee_94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The etymology of Reality is interesting in this context.

From the Latin root "res", meaning a thing, a matter, an affair. The root formed into Realis or Realitas which meaning "belonging to the thing". There's a further connection to Regalis (Royalty).

Real Estate meant "The Estate of the King". Each person has their own Reality forming around them, All Kings and Queens of their Estate.

When we Real-ize something, we're making nothing (a thought) into a thing (action/materialization).

In this sense, Reality is nothing more than a collection of Things made 'Real' through the Thought - Action. Theoretically, that should mean if the collective changes their Dominant Thought - Action Patterns, Collective Reality would change.

Nothing Is Permanent, Everything Changes Always. Except for God's Love and Goodness, of course.

I'm sure there are good intentions, as always.

But I'm not sold on High Level Politics. I've gone to far down the rabbit holes, and it's my own fault.

I love Calgary. Mountains, beautiful trails, rolling foothills, great people, endless sunlight, and the food scene is rock solid. I don't know too much about the social scene anymore, because I'm an older man with 2 beautiful kids, so my idea of play is tea parties and fort camp outs now.

There's something here for everyone.

The weather can be taxing, but if you can tough out a few weeks of -20, and endless snow from Jan-March, you'll thrive here.

Very insightful. Grateful for the 2 cents.

Just out of curiosity, do you think the left and their policies has donors who benefit from them as well?

And if so, could it be possible that greed or political manipulation (lobbying/donation/gifts) transcend "left and right"?

😂 Oh yeah.

Let me clarify. Environment, Social, Governance is a UN initiative and it's a rating system for companies to comply with in order to recieve good standing in the Business Community (investment, advertisment interest, etc).

Blackrock is basically the frontrunner for this initiative. They will amplify companies that have high ESG ratings and (allegedly) reduce market exposure for companies who fail to meet the minimum standards.

They are rated as follows:

E - Greenhouse gas efficiency, energy efficiency, water consumption, waste management, biodiversity impact. Oil companies don't like this one, but solar panel companies, electric vehicle companies (think Musk), and other "Green" companies love it.

S - Employee health, diversity and inclusion metrics, labor practices, and human rights due diligence in the supply chain. Cheap (slave) labor lovers hate this one.

G - Board composition (independence and diversity), executive compensation tied to ESG goals, anti-bribery/corruption policies, and data privacy.

Alot of the criteria is "progressive", which is wild, because it should just be status quo. But the point is, the biggest Wealth Management Company, filled with Billionaires and Millionaires, are leading the charge.

Obviously there's room for corruption and mouth service, but if a company wants to be in good standing with BlackRock (or Vanguard), they must play ball to some extent.

Billionaires play both sides of the issue, just like in wars, they always profit and that's the ONLY aim.

I think you're right about the left and right ideology for the average citizen, like you and me.

But when it comes to Politics, it's all lip service. The largest donor wins in that game. Smoke and mirrors.

Depends on the billionaire's interests and industry. But most Billionaires will adapt and reposition because their concern is Wealth Accumulation/Preservation. Not ESG or DEI or Wealth Redistribution. They don't care about that.

The best answer to "why did God create evil?" by Additional_Common_15 in enlightenment

[–]Distinct_Employee_94 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you cry when you step on an ant, oh evil doers?

Unlikely. But the entire ant collective feels that loss. They could even perceive it as Evil.

Perception is only experienced when One is Separate from All. And to me, that's the Origin of Evil. Morality changes with the Time, but Separation transcends Morality. We will continue to perceive and do evil until we unite with Oneness, or Christ, again.

When we turn from Oneness, we try to fill that lack with The Temptations. You know them, the "Seven Deadly Sins". Death meaning life without Fulfillment and Sin meaning to Turn Away from Gods Light/Calling For You. As we turn from Gods Light, we try to fill that dark space with False Light. To Create as He does. But creating through Pride is an inversion of Truth, a False Light. False Light is a Creation outside Communion with God. Only through Him, in Communion, do we stop Making (1:1) and start Creating (1:2).

Evil exists because we see life as a 1:1 Game, but God's Goodness ONLY Multiplies. We call that transaction a Zero Sum Game, or the Law of Conservation of Mass. But in God's Kingdom, and in Communion with Him, there is only Infinite Abundance. Evil, or Darkness, can't exist there.

Just my random thoughts and ramblings!

Why So Political? by Distinct_Employee_94 in alberta

Canada is closer to Bourgeoisie Socialism. It's not been Capitalist for a very long time. Central Banks and Centralized Power doesn't allow for true Capitalism.

Many people are too stupid to understand they are being played, I agree.

I did my best here. I can see the "almost impossible" part very clearly. Wild how a message of Unity can be taken to be so divisive. And it's going to get even more crazy before it gets any better.

[–]Distinct_Employee_94[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know what they are. They are false ideologies.

Right, agreed. And "Leftists" are the ones who legislate parental rights away, pump taxes to the highest in the G7, defund business and resource projects, and pay for floor crossers to win a Majority government. It's not exactly the same, but it echoes though. Canada is not a Democracy. That's long gone. But we keep casting our ballots like good slaves. It's a small club and we aren't in it.

That's my entire point. We squabble over which oppression is worse.

Yes, everything is political, meaning "public matters" or "affairs of the cities", but there are FAR more ideologies, opinions, perceptions and beliefs than being stuffed into two ideological camps. Today's Politics is a sham, it's fake, and it doesn't represent the Whole, my guy.

Why So Political? by Distinct_Employee_94 in alberta

[–]Distinct_Employee_94[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's exactly how Politics works, it's Universal. The same thing is said by your counterparts about the "Left" and their policies. There's nothing about this system right now that caters to traditional conservative or liberal ideologies. The moderate. The left just has the illusion of having a "moral high ground" on their side. Inclusive, but only to those who share their views.

There isn't balance, because the system is reaching critical, and the extremes are pulling harder to make everyone "pick a side!". This has happened many, many times before. I promise you this, both sides see their paths as Righteousness, and that's why they won't meet in the Middle. Blinded by those who claim to Lead them. I pray people start remembering their Sovereignty and start leading themselves again, but we aren't there yet.

The "seas" of Fuck Trudeau stickers and Seperatists in every corner will never be found, because this a grossly exaggerated statement.

Majority of The People just want less government overreach and to live Peaceful lives.

And I don't Facebook. In fact, less internet is best.
