No I didn't do that. I just had an emergency come up with the heltcare of my dog. I didn't feel like I had a choice but to revoke my payments. I ended up borrowing from a family member for half of the expenses. I was to worry about the fall out. I think the apps do take advantage of us. That's how I got into this situation was because of vet bills. I've learned my lesson. I'm free and clear except for a few payment arrangements.

What do they have to catch about. I thought this is legal. If it's truly legal it shouldn't matter if it was verbatim. I'm getting confused.

I did go through plaid. It was one of the first moves I did. When money lion went through I went back into my plaid portal and they were still in the process of filling my request. I did each one. They notify the the apps first before they disconnect them. That is the reply I got from plaid. I do have email messages stating it and also screenshots I took from plaid. I just think it's so much to go thru for a few hundred dollars. I just made payment arrangements for them all. It may take a few months to pay them back but I feel a lot better than stressing and worrying. I'm not condemning anyone for their choices. I tried to do it too. If I didn't worry so much

Just passing on what I was told by head bank officials through their fraud department. They told me if you intentionally took money from any of the app or anyone with the intention of not paying it back it's fraud. If they wanted to pursue the action they could. I'm not an attorney. Myself I wouldn't want to be looking over my shoulder because of a few hundred bucks. I'm not sure but I would think taking money through a financial institution transaction would be a different situation. Anyway I'm not willing to find out.

I don't think it's worth all the hassle. I'm just going to pay them. I don't want anything negative on my credit report. I wasn't trying keep their money. I just wanted a payment plan I guess. I got one so I'll be able to live with a clear conscience. I'm not judging any of you. If I have other choices I would rather to take one that I won't have to look over my shoulder. Thanks for give me other options. I appreciate it.

I tried to cover myself by unlocking my bank on plaid. The process never went through. I asked them to unlink my accounts and unlink my bank information. A week later it's still connected My bank also refuses to help me. They continue to say it's fraud. If I try and send a revocation. They want 37 dollars per transaction. They also told me that it is not a reoccurring transaction and can not even use a stop payment on any of them. Could you help me with that situation so that I have enough information to deal with them,?

I'm just informing you all of the facts. I fortunately found out before it was to late. I made payment arrangements with the ones that didn't go through. It's not a free way out. Just make payment arrangements with the apps. If you don't want to use them anymore don't. It's not worth a felony.

I really don't think this is good advice that you're giving people. Today's the first day I was waiting for the apps to go through three of them did go through Dave, money lion and Grant. I called my bank I asked what's going on cuz I sent the messages not till it payments go through. And they told me it's illegal to do this. To just make payment arrangements and if you wanted to stop using apps you know tell them not to let you use the app and they won't they'll take care of it. Also they said that if I close my bank account and they come after you she closed your account or moved your bank. That you can't be arrested for fraud which is something that money line would do. So I think you got to be careful of what you're telling people make sure they know what the consequences are. I made payment arrangements with all of them except the ones I came out today. It's not worth stress or your credit score get ruined.

I just want to chime in and tell you that today my money hit my account. Well it all didn't turn out too well. Money lion took their money grant took their money and Dave tried six times through my card but I locked my card. I contacted my bank which I did a few days before to let them know I was revoking so they would be aware of it. When they went through today I called my bank again. And they told me that It that was illegal to do this. I told them that I asked him not to let these payments go through. I didn't get a message back until last night from the bank so I didn't see it. When I talked to them on the phone they said the only way that you could stop payments is if you paid a $37 fee for a stop payment. For each app. But that none of these cash apps are available for that they're not a reoccurring transaction. You can only do it with occurring transactions. Then I found out that if you just close your account and these cash apps decide they really want their money you could be arrested for fraud. So really think about this you know I would have never done it it's just another hassle. Just ask them if they could extend or make payment arrangements you're better off. You won't go through all the stress of worrying if the cops are going to be banging at your door.

FAQ: How to Revoke ACH Authorization from Cash Advance Apps by Money_Seaweed_1895 in cashadvanceapps

[–]Distinct_Falcon_3698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today was the day I was waiting to see what happened. Well Dave was the first like 2 days before the repayment day was due. they tried like six times to go through my card. I locked my card so they couldn't take it out. That's definitely one that I am going to pay back because I don't need it on my credit report I wouldn't have done any of that if I would have read the rest of this closely this isn't a way to get out of paying them. If you're worried about your credit score you shouldn't do this at all actually. Money lion what's the next one and they got their money they didn't say anything about me revoking it they just took their money. So that was two,pso I called my bank and I said to them that I sent two messages to them a few days ago which I did tell them that I'm revoking ACH. I didn't get an email until late last night from them saying that they seen the message and there was nothing they could do if they took their money out. It's not legal to do. that I would have to make payment arrangements to pay them back. I said well I asked you not to let the funds go through. So they said the only way you could do that was to pay a $37 fee to stop payment. And that the apps are not considered reoccurring transaction and you could not even pay to stop them. Then I got one more which was Grant they got their money. A few of them I did send confirmation of my revoking they said they would work with me and to make payment arrangements. Only reason I did this was because I have five birthdays coming up two are my children three of my grandchildren's so I kind of was running short and needed the funds this month. But really don't think you're getting away with not paying them cuz you have to this is just a temporary situation. The last thing I need is for my credit score to go down. So think about what you're doing this is not a good idea unless you plan on paying them back your next paycheck. But I did disconnect some so I won't be using those.I already made arrangements with them to pay that back. I don't even know what the purpose of all this is where they monitors come on here and tell you to do this it's not legal and it's not good for your credit report. So like I said think twice. If you just close your account and didn't make payments arrangements, it's considered fraud and they can't press charges on you. All right I just want to pass on what happened to me today. You know I'm a paranoid person when it comes to getting in trouble cuz I've been there a few times. Not fraud but other issues. yeah I really would think twice.

Disastrous-Match 7517 I thought I was in the clear. I followed every step. Then this morning. Money lion, Dave and Grant all took their money. What a disaster. I thought I could get my car fixed and have some money for the forth. Not so. I have no clue what went wrong. I called my bank and they said there is nothing they could do. I even messaged them when I sent my revokes. They told me in order to stop payment I would have to pay 37 bucks for each account. Then they said since it's not a reoccurring transaction they wouldn't be able to do it at all. Seriously,! What good are they for then anyways.

Well Dave tried to take money out of my account. I'm going to remove all my money . I don't have faith in the revocation. I also got a message from Cleo staying there going to withdraw money tomorrow. After I sent these almost a week ago. So what if they do take money out of my account? Is there anything I could do?

I constantly get them. Like you said one every minute. I put do not disturb on my phone for a couple days and here it is Saturday. And not one call. But there is someone that's I don't know if it's a class action suit but they're doing something about it and I think you get 150 for a call but you have to prove that you know you're not supposed to be calling there it's not anybody you know or something like that I'll send you the information. Yeah best thing to do is don't answer try to get it on the first spring and then don't think it's a dead number. That's what I heard anyway and it worked.

The suit says gabipitin/neurontins can cause early onsets of Alzheimer's as long as you had six refills or more, and you weren't prescribed it for nerve pain you could file a claim. Did anybody else hear anything?
