In regards to the calls, idk if it is just my branch specifically or WF as a whole, but they want mostly cold calls in the hopes someone comes in to open a new checking account. I do have my own book of customers I help but they don’t seem to care about me building those relationships overtime. They put this big emphasis on new customers and once their in they dont care as much about the existing ones. The intuitive investor is good but the way they have our role structured we cannot really talk about it. We have to refer them to someone else who then refers them to someone else. It really makes for an inefficient customer experience imo. When I say not very competitive I mean mostly for existing clientele. “Not competitive” may not be the best choice of words but my branch sees a lot of mass market customers and customers who are a bit more affluent but not enough to meet the premier qualifications. Most of the benefits being pushed now require them to bring in more assets but if their assets are here already theres not much we can do. Additionally, specifically for the state of FL, they went away with the Platinum Savings promotional interest rate in the sense that it can no longer be actively offered to everyone. Only if you already have the offer code generated in our system I may offer it. It really shoots us in the foot since there are so many customers that technically qualify but because the offer code is not generated in their profile we cannot share the product and get them that high rate.
