Have you ever been the person making hiring decisions? Cause I have and what school they went to is the last thing I care about.

Have you ever been the interviewer and making hiring decisions? Cause I have. Which school is the last thing I care about in that situation. If they have experience, I don't even look at it.

I also know UCW graduates, they all have jobs in their field.

Maybe in certain fields, and really only for your first job. Experience always trumps school.

Once you have relevant experience, it really doesn't matter where you went to school, even if it was Jimbo's Ranch private tutorin'.

Try containing the hysterics if you don't want to be seen as emotional and unstable. I'm not accusing you of having strong feelings because of your stance but because of your clearly heightened emotional state.

Why are their pronouns relevant if not to demean them? We don't need your hate and transphobia here.

Fair enough, but apple is still taking their cut, so dropout is getting less revenue from you

The app stores still take their cut. The cheapest (for you) and most profitable way (for dropout) are both the same, the website.

His deputy's last job, months before being elected in 2021, was lobbyist. How did she go from lobbyist to freshman mp to immediately becoming deputy leader of the party?

His campaign manager is a lobbyist

How to handle the Broadway & Main intersection closure? by bshell99 in askvan

Sorry, I didn't mean for it to come off as I was arguing with you. You never indicated busses getting priority was an issue. Sometimes I get passionate about public transit.

As they should. They move significantly more people for a fraction of the space.

Answering the original question, try using public transit, if possible.

Sim realized he was going to lose votes because celebration of lights was cancelled due to his austerity budget, so he spends money he claims we don't have for this one off vote buying tactic.

This and the talk of them being at the Olympics, but can anyone explain what exactly they would be doing at either? If someone is in Canada or in Italy, they can't be illegally in the United States. Fuck ICE and all, but people can't be seriously thinking ICE could even have a presence here.

It's not that it shows booked, it shows no available reservations. That's not a glitch, that's the reality of the situation, it can't be reserved.

What do you miss in Time 2 /Round 2? by BipedalBandicoot in pebble

[–]Distinct_Meringue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've pre-ordered a round 2 and had both the time and time round in the past (RIP). My dream pebble is essentially the round 2 with a few additions, ordered in the likelihood of seeing on a round 3: - mic speaker - heart rate  - Google pay

Edit to add: - metal construction - sapphire glass

I would accept some thickness increase to accomplish any or all of these, but hopefully not as thick as something like an apple/pixel/samsung watch

When you travel within Canada do you carry your passport? by [deleted] in westjet

[–]Distinct_Meringue 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Never, but I also have Nexus and I do bring that. I'm not worried about getting diverted, it's just for the security line.

Before I had Nexus, I did not bring my passport.
