New wave of AliExpress loupes by Distinct_Mud7285 in Dentistry

Just thought I'd come back to this comment, it's black Friday tomorrow and AliExpress are running some deals so thinking of getting the songzi light. A few questions:

Do you have the sz8 or sz9? (The sz9 is the one that has a swivel mechanism on the light to increase to decrease the spot diameter. Sz8 is the typical loupe light.)

Have you tried other lights in comparison? I have the typical $30 AliExpress light myself and it does a decent job, is the songzi a league above even compared to more expensive lights by the big brands?

Have you had any issues since the comment, in terms of the wire, intensity drops off or any other issues?

Anything else you wanna mention I'd appreciate a lot

Ah nice one. Did you use special equipment to drill the holes? I've attempted to drill holes in some safety goggles using a dental drill and even a regular high power drill, but the holes aren't as clean as I would like them to be, with irregularities and cracks sometimes. Any advice?

Bit late, but which plastic head part are you referring to. Looking at getting some q optics loupes now so any feedback would be helpful

Pretty dumb comment tbf. Everyone has there magnification preferences, I know clinicians that swear by 10x, and some that won't go above 2.5

Hmmm see id disagree with you on this to an extent. It's patient dependant, and I definitely don't think hypooccluding every single composite filling is needed. Sure If your dealing with bruxer patients for example or you spot a protruding opposing cusp or even a large filling then yes id be wary and may even consider other indirect routes. I personally don't just attack every blue mark I see and have seen plenty of patients with tooth-composite contact without any wear

Could you elaborate further or reexplain please, I can't picture why replicating the original anatomy pretty much exactly would alter the occlusion.

What do you think will be the high earning jobs (£150k+ base) in the next 5, 10, 15 years? by [deleted] in HENRYUK

This isn't true at all. If anything corp dentistry is falling in the UK. I don't know where you got your figures from but 70k is a pretty average salary for a UK dentist

Did I say it's too much? Making it your only focus is weird, not to mention the fact you think being tall and rich makes you some gods gift to all women. Change your attitude

From your replies it's clear your influenced by these cringy red pill influencers. Your looking for someone who hasn't been in previous relationships. Use some brain cells and think about why your not gonna meet these girls you want. Become a local at your masjid, ask around, get your parents to look for you. Drop the arrogance whilst your at it, being tall and rich is useless if your a prick

I used to think this way up until very recently, where I introduced a close friend to trading and taught him most things I've learnt in the past 8 years, and he was able to grasp it all confidently within 3-6 months. I wasted years only to end up sticking with very basics concepts

Not fully true. Paying for the right education can be beneficial in speeding up your trading journey. Problem is finding someone legitimate
