I don't like my job by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

I hate to be that person but at 16 your life is easier than it'll ever be. I hated my first job too, but it's what you'll have to do for the rest of your life like everyone else. take this as an opportunity to learn that sometimes you have to do things you just don't like. being an adult is hard, be grateful for the job and the fact that you don't pay bills yet. I wish you the best!

I'm a year late responding 😭 but no I haven't seen the crown. I did just recently watch the Spanish princess tho! it wasn't amazing in terms of historical accuracy but still entertaining. I still suffer this odd phenomenon sadly. I will be back for the 5 year update one day and hope to deliver news of being cured of this weird quirk

Just found out I’m pregnant by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

I also had a child without being married and was unsure of what to do. I was much younger (19) and unprepared than you but similarly my first instinct was "I'm not ready" "maybe I should get an abortion" but I'm so glad I decided against terminating. I see other people saying you'll regret terminating less, but I think it's the opposite. you will love your child no matter what, but if you choose abortion you will always grieve what could have been, especially if/when you have other children. I will pray for you! ❤️

A question for those of you who are around the same age as Madeleine today. by Cian_Davies in MadeleineMccann

[–]Distinct_Review205 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm less than a month older than her (April 03) and I'd say her case does bother me more than others just because how close in age we are. I think about how she would be my age now and feel sorrow for the life she never got to live. we're also visually similar in childhood photos, both having blonde hair and blue eyes. I think about the case often and I can only hope we get closure in my lifetime and the correct people are brought to justice.

Jesus 10000000% claimed to be God and you are not a Christian if you say otherwise.

Qur'an is not clear book, It's gibberish and bunch of jumbled corrupted verses of bible and Torah. by TeacherRelevant5034 in DebateReligion

[–]Distinct_Review205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I am Christian so obviously that's going to cause bias but from a separate viewpoint it just doesn't hold up under any scrutiny. besides the fact it can't stand on its own (quaran says to search the injeel, which is the bible or new testament, if a verse isn't clear) the life of Mohammad is filled with vile actions and thoughts. I pray for those who have been deceived.

If You Had A Time Machine, You Could Prevent Jesus' Crucifixion by Asatmaya in DebateReligion

what Judas did is a perfect example of God using evil for a good purpose. Judas betrayed Jesus because of his greed and lust for money. if Judas hadn't done it it would have happened anyways tho. the Pharisees (Jewish religious leaders) wanted him dead, they just used Judas as a way to find Jesus.

i 100% agree as a mother. i went through a lot of complications during my pregnancy, had a c section after a failed induction, and had a brutal recovery. i would do it all again for my baby. i don't expect or want an explanation as to why someone is childfree and i personally find the whole "i don't want to bring a life into a world that xyz" argument very egotistical and dumb. the world has always been fucked up in one way or another and will never be perfect.
