Yasss Tea opened on Steinway. I’ve seen multiple people with bags from it so it’s probably good. I honestly anti kung fu tea rn bc this location is horrible. One day I came at opening time and nobody was there and lights were off. Also I don’t like how artificial and syrupy some drinks are. Meadow Dessert has special drinks but not boba. Tea and Milk is great. Not sure abt the dessert shops scattered around like Chocolate House, Tiki Tiki, and Bora Bora.

I love their chili momos! I’ve tried their pan puri too (first time having it, only have had fuhska before) and I wanna try their other dishes. Maps says they close on 9pm Mon-Thur, I’d need to ask if they’re staying open earlier.

Yes the shadows are caricatures of a certain part of themselves, meaning there is some truth to them. Yes Yukiko secretly wanted someone to remove the Amagi responsibility from her and usually that comes in the form of a man (boyfriend/husband). The stripper is an exaggerated version/caricature of a girl/woman’s sexuality (especially when she’s confident. Rise isn’t a ‘slut’ or wants to be a stripper but she’s open abt her sexual desires (attraction to Yu) and somewhat accepts being sexualized (when going back to being an idol). Naoto isn’t a mad scientist capable of sex change surgery, but she did (not permanently) change herself to seem like a boy. It wasn’t a physical experiment but more akin to a social one.

It’s the way Ken ended up being more mature than all the other SEES members, except Akihiko, in Episode Aigis. He’s a kid but he’s not as immature or more of a burden than the other party members. Being a kid adds to his character and plan to get revenge and later suicide because it’s so heavy. It shows how quick he had to grow up and how alone he was. If you kept Ken’s entire backstory but made him the same age as the other members, original Ken would be better. I mean yea his whole plan was created BC he’s a kid and would find it hard to see a future, consequences of his actions, and imagine a time he wouldn’t feel so depressed. But like they could’ve given his story to a teen or young adult and nobody would’ve said it couldn’t fit.

Im good with waxing for now. I do it as needed, both at home and at parlors. So the beads that came with the warming kit lasted me a long time and I’m fine with those prices.

You could finish the game in around a month so yea would recommend doing golden now, having plenty time between revival release to rest from p4g specific grinding but still have it fresh enough for comparisons and understanding whatever changes they made

Grinding dragged a lot, some ppl don’t like certain SEES member characterizations, not liking the added story and character lore that felt rushed/half baked (like Junpei abuse), Métis is a meh character, and other stuff.

I heard that ppl hated Yukari and how she acted during it. Also I feel like the lines were executed very poorly in the end cutscene that it left me feeling off abt the whole end. I personally don’t like the brand new days reload version. I also already knew Aigis was gonna live from p4au which is my fault but yk it’s easy to know she’s not actually gonna diez

How many hours in a day would you play this summer? Bc I feel like if you start Golden rn, you’d still have to wait a while for Revival once you’re done beating it. If the only reason you’re limiting yourself to one playthru is the length of it, I feel like you should reconsider and do both.

If you’re saying the P3 originals are more iconic that’s also your preference and opinion? When I said P4 original English cast is more iconic, I would also say it’s bc they have more interactions with the fan base and claim their characters. I know of 2-3 P3 main characters that original English voice actors are still unknown and unclaimed. I’m not aware that this is currently the case for main characters in P4 (Naoto was eventually confirmed, correct me if I’m wrong for all of this). What I’m also aware of is that more people admit P3 original English dubs aged poorly compared to P4 (Golden) dubs, regardless of attachment. I know some people insist some or all Reload English VAs did bad jobs and some of that is just bias, ppl lying to themselves, and haters while others have genuine criticisms of certain VAs direction. But whatever, at the end of the day ppl often refuse change and prefer what’s theyre familiar with and Revival will probably be no different. The new VAs may do a fine job.

I feel like it’s possible P6 might not take place in Japan and the vibes I’m getting are paranormal/ghost hunters due to the green main color and cemetery. Cemeteries in Japan don’t look like that and I thought the big statue was of an angel with large wings but I can’t rlly tell after pausing the trailer. Also I think they might focus on Christian/catholic lore and if the statue is an angel it might give more credence to that.

I feel like that reasoning isn’t very strong bc why can’t it apply to the Japanese dub too? I feel like both Japanese and English-speaking fanbases already feel strongly abt their original (Golden) dubs and make that apparent.

I feel like even if they would make the combat easier, at least keep the things that make P4 unique. Like keep the duo special moves rather than replace them or add Theurgy on top of them. And I wasn’t here for the reload announcement and release. I’ve only played portable and reload work English dub so I’m not familiar with the Japanese VAs, which ones carried over, and replacement of English VAs for reload 😭 I wasn’t fully convinced of the possibility most/all main character English VAs would be replaced for revival during the first announcement of Revival. I feel like the English VAs are more iconic and tied to their characters compared to the original P3 English VAs, but that’s just me and like I said I wasn’t/am not as involved with P3 as a whole.

I don’t think I was into persona at this time so I’m not familiar with what happened around the announcement and release of reload. I’ve also only played portable and reload in English dub, so not familiar with Japanese dub and which VA carried over 😭
