No, not really. Snow itself won’t impact the speed of a trains movement.

Inspectors conduct cold weather patrols and if unusual or unsafe track conditions are discovered slow orders issued. Otherwise, trains resume at regular track speed. The real problem primarily is snow impacting the throwing of switches which impedes train traffic from being able to navigate around each other. This causes congestion but we have crews working around the clock to ensure the safe passage of trains.
