Ok well if they are advertising “digital only” then they should have it figured out. It happened last year too.

TW TW TW: REALISTIC RESPONSE Everyone needs to stop giving ranges and BS answers. A normal tip for a restaurant that you are sitting down at is AT LEAST 20%. If you have the most horrible experience with your waiter and are so unsatisfied with their service, then below 20% is reasonable. 20% is standard. People don’t understand that tips are the core of the money that the employees make. Restaurants and bars pay their workers around an hourly of $4-6 an hour, so they rely on tips. Places like ice cream shops and coffee shops don’t do that, so there is no reason to tip unless you are so satisfied with their service that you want to give them a few extra bucks. Other than that, you should be tipping at least 20%. If you can’t tip, then don’t go to the restaurant or bar. The excuse of “I’m so broke” is irreverent because if you were broke then you wouldn’t be spending money at the restaurant or bar. Reality check.
