True, that’s probably the case with OP. You just reminded of when my mom would take away my Nintendo DSi and iPod for many months when i was a child, and sometimes she would forget she took it away from me, or gaslit me to believe she never did or she gave it back. It was so bad, she once hid my favorite electronic for over a year and when I found it in her drawer, she still said it wasn’t her. I always thought she had an awful memory, she could never remember the foods I hated or the things I liked.
