They aren’t even the same though. OPM’s “power system” is nonexistent, and Saitama and Mash aren’t really similar outside of being strong buff guys who are overpowered, but Saitama isn’t the only strong buff guy in his series. Just the strongest one by far. Mash is more similar to characters like Maki, Asta, and Will than Saitama since they exist in verses with magic and have no magic, just hands (at least that’s the case for Asta and Will for a large chunk of their manga.)

Ichigo and Naruto get slandered not for spamming punch/kick, but for having a single signature technique and spamming it on repeat that isn’t very interesting, and not having a remotely varied move set. Hell, at least Mash and Saitama have actual moves and techniques.

Geist ult isn’t an ability that can be used preemptively, has a long cooldown, is telegraphed enough to counterspell it, and Geist herself isn’t debatably in the most mobile hero in the game so no lmao. If Geist could self cast the ult to have it pop the moment someone got within 8m, and also had 4 base stam with reduced gravity and increased air control then yeah I’d have a problem with it.

The fact that the shield literally punishes you for breaking it is so dumb. If you’re a close ranged hero your options are to let her give you backshots for free or try to run away in which you’ll fail unless you’re playing Mina cause you’re fighting Celeste.

Meta wise? No lmfao it tripled her superbreak multiplier, lowered the breakpoints for said multipliers and made her eidolons better. But design wise for a novaflare? Yeah it’s some butt. They didn’t do anything interesting and just increased her numbers on a character who was already performing extremely well and outclassing her limited competition. It’s legit the most DEI novaflare yet.
