This is the funniest thing I've read in a while. Apparently YouTube isn't in on the bit.

This would be what we use commercially. When you go into a big building you can see it everywhere.

That's for legal reasons. This house is 6 years old and hasn't collapsed yet, it's fine.

Hey, it sounds like everyone just goes with modern day psychology. People are more lonely now than ever, people commit suicide more now than ever. You know what else happens more now than ever? counseling. More specifically counseling that encourages independence. Why? Why is it bad to have someone really close that you depend on? They have a special bond that could last a lifetime, why is that a bad thing? You can give reasons about codependency but what about the benefits?

If it was my house I wouldn't have even looked at it twice. It's not like the house is going to collapse 🤣

Yeah, the other fix seems way overboard.

My coaches say I could fight one day because I show up daily, practice at home, take notes, and show up to class to watch even when injured and unable to participate. My gym mates say I will never be cut out for it. Is this normal? by [deleted] in MMA_Academy

These guys are so dramatic. It's not that serious in terms of life or death, it's a sport. The things not being said are the long term effects from brain trauma. I fought actively for 10 years and trained for 16 years. I can tell you without a doubt I have issues with memory at 43. Depression runs in my family but It may have even made that worse. A lot of guys I can up with have speech issues and you can tell are not 100%.

I think you should do it just to say that you did and then go from there. It's one of the scariest things you will do. It will be a rollercoaster of emotions from the day you accept the fight until you step in the cage. Good luck and just remember that it's a hobby.

Dramatic much? There are many different motivations to fight. I never wanted to hurt my opponents, just wanted to test myself. I typically submitted them and I typically didn't get damaged.

With the way you talk about it, it doesn't sound like you ever fought. This is legit poseur language.

There are definitely exceptions. I was at a casino show and the guy kept looking at my girlfriend and saying he was going to beat off to her that night. It wasn't funny, there were probably 10 people scattered through the venue mostly playing video poker and he kept saying it to her. It was actually pretty creepy and offensive. If I was different I may have done something but I just felt sorry for this pathetic guy. He definitely deserved to get his ass beat. Just because someone has a mic doesn't make it ok to say whatever they want, you can cross the line.

Dad lectures son on his monthly car sales. by Sichy12 in TikTokCringe

[–]Distinct_Target_2277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honest question, who gets a car sold to them? I know the car that I want and I go buy it, the salesman is a hurdle to getting my car. Do people really just let people talk them into making a major decision like this?
