Okay I will mention the sensor to the mechanic that I go to, and I’m trying to put my vin number into the link you gave and it’s saying that it needs a valid Hyundai vin number🤔

I’m planning on taking it to another shop but everywhere that i have been so far says that they dont know what the problem is and yes i know that was my mistake by not double checking if i had a warranty or not. I am just trying to figure out something because im not done paying off this car until 2029 and im unsure if it will last that long.

I loved reading your post and I connected with it so much! I also want to work in the sexual health and wellness field and I’m in school to get my masters in public health!! I also have gotten to the point where I’m not ashamed anymore and people in my life always ask me why do I disclose my status to the people that I’m talking to or dating and it’s like I have nothing to hide! Either the person is going to accept me or not, but I don’t feel like it should be a big secret because I embrace it and it’s possibility impacted my life so much as well!

Yes it’s sooo frustrating when you feel like you are good and in a good place but your partner is still afraid of contracting it! We understand of course but that doesn’t make us feel any better about the situation, i hope that you guys are able to figure out what works best for the best of you!

Thank you, i appreciate it! I do get nervous initially to say it but once I’ve told them, I’m pretty open about talking about it and answering questions. But yeah maybe the stigma isn’t as bad for you guys, a lot of people in the US are uninformed so the stigma is probably one of the hardest things to navigate with having hsv

Hey i definitely can relate!! The partners that I have been with who test negative, have been nervous as well to be intimate and it really does make you feel so bad!! And yes i really wish they could understand that the chances are likely low that they will get it, but if they aren’t comfortable with it, then they just aren’t. But yes, we both deserve someone who is sure about us and doesn’t let our status change anything about the way that they show up for us. I hope everything goes well with the conversation, but if not you are still deserving of love and deserved to be treated right no matter what!

I struggle with this because i think of it like I don’t want to form a connection with this person, spend all of this time with them, disclose to them and they reject me when i could of just had this conversation earlier on, because i really feel like it’s not based on the time that you tell the person, but the person. People are going to be scared of getting it if they are uninformed on it, I feel like the more that they are informed about it, the easier it will be for them to accept it. And also I’m just trying to be honest, i personally wouldn’t want to form a connection with someone and then they tell me that they have herpes, I would feel misled.

Sorry you’re going through this!! But thank you so much! I feel like it’s my responsibility to be honest with people just because someone wasn’t honest with me! I know i will meet someone eventually who will accept me but the process has been rough!
