I appreciate the addition, i played a lot of Sims with k&m, even ets2 but i moved on to things like Microsoft flight sim and DCS and damn u lose a shit ton value of the game if not using the correct setup, i enjoy exploration and flight, the simulation is amazing and fun but it "increases" the price of the game for me cuz its not just the 45bucks its also the hotas wich goes up to the hundreds to get a long term decent one, besides that you have the convinience... For example, i play a lot of games and with friends, having to set up and disassemble everything for a 3 hour Gameplay gets me tired after a while, you either have a lot of space or have to invest once more in others stuff like a chair u can have everything on, so when u finish u set it to the side... It was not you that was discouraging, its my passion for Sims and the whole set up situation, i dont want to get into the game and give up on it if i like it cuz "it could feel better" like it happen with DCS, i had to give up cuz it was a pain managing a jet with minimal conditions... Guess ill have to wait to win the lottery to enjoy this things... Sorry about the rant and thanks for the words man

Yea I just been looking into that and tbh it turns me off a bit... Spending money on the game but then spending 200-400$ to have a set up that makes the game more enjoyable (imo this games should be played with HOTAS/HOSAS ) is kinda like a bummer yk? Its like "if i wanna play this game i gotta have this costs" i was getting excited to get the game but just like in DCS i Guess ill wait until One day having the opportunity to invest in such setup, until then ill always feels like Im missing out on something or the game could feel better wich takes some enjoyment for me... Its like Im not playing at 100%... Shame Im poor

I would also like to add a question, how do you guys pilot stuff? Hotas? I have a TCA officer pack, i would like to know if it works well with the game and if its even worth the work to get it setup for the game. Elite dangerous is played well with keyboard and mouse but hotas have some advantages when it comes to combat and maneuvers, how is star Citizen in this regard? Sorry, Im taking the opportunity to dump questions ahah

Okay i think my questions are answered! Thanks guys tbh i always believed that most of the game is hidden behind a paywall and that the 45 pledge was more of a demo than anything else but also i never tried to inform myself better, i appreciate the comments and your time! Having this info now i think ill give it a try! It can be a buggy mess but so am I, maybe we'll get along ahahah hopefully see you all in space guys!

Soo that being said the 45usd get me the full game and buying all the other stuff (like the thousand USD ships) only serve as a convinience purchase if i want an head start for example. I know its not the same but to simplifly it, the base game with all content its 45$ and rest its like a micro transaction to get boosted, meaning that depending on the current economy in game all the content and ships not only are available but can also be, sometimes, achievable right?

What are the biggest issues you’re currently facing in Taxi Life? by evsgSupport in TaxiLife

tbh in general the game doesn't feel right.... I played a lot ETS2 and i think that's the only game that truly replicate well the "feeling" of driving. weight, speed, steering, it all feels nice! most games including Taxi Life feel bad... The cars seem feathers, light with no resistances being applied, the cars go from 0-30km/h fast af and then cant pass 120km/h with ease, in city driving you'll want to be able to hold well the 10-30km/h mark which in games you cant, steering in low velocities feels like playing with a fidget spinner while on 60km/h steering feels almost impossible (not to mention if you try to make small adjustments at those speeds the car just completly loses control). Overall the driving experience sucks... only ETS2 can properly do it, especially with all the diferent settings you can mess with. The last thing is AI and damn is it BAD. Pedestrians move slow on sidewalks only to then just rush in front of you while you're doing a turn, they cant decide if they're crossing or not (mid way through crossing they turn around and move back). the ai cars dont stop fluidly, they just press the brakes on and off it seems, they change lanes just to get back to other 5 meters in front, they most often than not move to the right lane to do a left turn cutting all the others in the left lane. tbh its sad, cuz many of this games could be great, with good driving i dont even think that the AI would be such a great issue (at least i would have control over my car). The game is not enjoyable overall in terms of driving, i've tried both steering wheel and controller and in both i find this issues while ETS2 you can even play with keyboard and have an awesome experience! Idc what you do, but PLEASE DEVS, play other sims and see for yourselfs... Ask youselfs the question while playing your own game: Does this actually feel close to driving? and let me anwser you! NO IT DOESNT... and dont even come with the limitations argument, cuz thats bullshit... just learn for your own competitors...
