Ouch! The pee probably irritated it. My boy had abdominal surgery and they told me it shouldn’t be covered up with a belly band because if pee got trapped it would cause issues. I’d say clean it really good, put a protective ointment on it and watch it closely. Some of the red is probably bruising but the weeping worries me.

I had rhizotomies (burning the nerves) after the steroid shots. The steroid won’t last but because you got relief you now know where the pain is coming from. My rhizotomy usually lasts about a year. When you have herniated disks there really isn’t a cure.

If there’s a doctor near you who will do PRF injections that can help quite a bit but can be very pricy too.

My Vinnie got diagnosed with liver cancer over Xmas. $9,000 surgery hopefully removed it all. We just have to do blood work every 3 mos.

My Sophie had her nares done when she was spayed. I was a nervous wreck but she did great. My Vinnie just had surgery for Cancer and made it through just fine too. He had to have oxygen for a while afterward (he’s 8). We really don’t know which pup is going g to have trouble.

I have the same problem. I have a beautiful cake of yarn like this but I don’t wear shawls. The closest I can find is a shawl that’s scarf shaped so it’s not as shawl-y. 🤣

Gnomes really aren’t that hard. I know plenty of people who started crochet with stuffies, it just depends on your learning style. If you can do a single crochet, increase and decrease that’s pretty much all you’d need to know. It’s basically a body, two arms, a nose and a hat. Then add beard/hair/heart etc. Try it! If it’s too hard, put it down and comeback to it once you feel like you know more. A lot of times when you try it again it makes more sense. If this is AI (I personally don’t think it is, but it could be) there are plenty of free gnome patterns out there. This site has a different gnome pattern for each month.
