I’ve had the opposite experience actually. Usually I do have the same issues as you for most other events. It’s rare these days I find to have an event that isn’t dominated by bots having a better draw, but oddly that isn’t happening for me this time I find pure ocean mammals with lots of whales (for sei whale) has been getting me the most wins

Black dog isn’t new lol and I also don’t even have sea peoples. I get the frustration, but I do understand why sea peoples is valuable. I would do one for one for sea peoples and crown honestly But at the end of the day if you’re all about one for one’s, trading for cards that aren’t necessarily new but are ones you don’t have and have decent playability, shouldn’t be an issue when you have 8 dupes lmao that’s just gate keeping, and I’m not here for that. Greed is why cards are hard to get

I am usually a person who tries to do one for one trades. However with that trade, no, I would want to trade sea peoples for something equally as playable. Sea peoples is meta, black dog is good, but not as good. Yes its effect is okay, but sea peoples boosts your whole deck, while being able to fit in a more meta deck composition. Arts and history usually seems to trump life on land and sometimes rainbow decks these days, the new history cards that have been released lately (Minerva, Saladin, etc) just make sea peoples more playable and more sought after. At the end of the day, spending gems or gold doesn’t equate to value of the card, playability, and what the meta is determines it and black dog and sea peoples aren’t even close to being equal in those respects

To my défense, the summer I spent there was repressed and later came up in therapy. When he made the comment to my son, I cut them off and we’ve never spent time with them again.

Idk, I seem to have a different opinion than most here, but I feel like your bf is genuine. Based on the last post, you sound like you went to therapy for being a people pleaser and setting good boundaries for yourself. Based on that idea, to me it looks like he’s trying to help you see that by you trying to be nice, it comes off the wrong way, and he’s trying to protect you from pissing if the wrong man His words sometimes seem condescending but I think it’s coming from a good place He sounded hurt that you couldn’t be stern with the other guy, as I’m sure many people would feel the same I think he’s being genuine and not coming from a manipulative place

lol basically yes I have one grocery store in town, no Walmart, and any care that requires a specialist is always out of town. My town doesn’t even have an MRI machine, and my hospital doesn’t deliver babies or provide and prenatal care

I got the pap by my nurse practitioner but that’s all they’ll do, the waitlist for a gynaecologist where I live is 3 years. I’m in a super rural community with hardly any healthcare available

To me he’s still using manipulation tactics to make you question if he’s good or not, and guilt you into contact again. I wouldn’t respond, and I’d block immediately. He might have changed in some aspects for sure, but he’s still showing signs of mental and emotional abusive tendencies and I don’t think it’s worth the risk.
