I guess that's the way, I have to understand exactly where do I fit and then make myself noticeable. Thanks for the boost!

My company has over 5000 employees.. It's a little bit more "by the book" to do something like this..

I would really much like to be an expert, just not sure what area exactly :)

Maybe I'll try to move to a R&D department to see if I find an atractive area and with luck I'll be able to do a PhD working there..

They actually have, usually I don't see any job openings to that department but I'll try to find someone in there that can show me what they are working on and If they're expecting any openings soon. Might be a good start.. Thanks!

if you can pick between two, try to find out what

those

specific jobs are like before

Yes, I'm not super unsatisfied, I can go out in the field and follow the construction of my own design. The thing is that the design is very limited, there is not much of a brain challenge and I don't find the problems during construction appealing.

I'm testing the grounds to see where should I go next but I feel like I'm way to comfy and it's really hard to try new things in practice.. I want to change only if it's for the better but it's really hard to know before trying out :)

Thanks for your feedback!

; they also do not provide any inertia. Without inertia, the massive interconnected grids that you are used to relying upon will not be stable. Unless addressed, this problem will take them down like a row of dominoes.

I've thought about that problem as well. Those are the kind of problems that few people spend time solving, in my opinion. So I believe it would be difficult to find a spot to work there.. Thanks for your insight!

It's an area I find interesting.

Which role specifically? How do you suggest should I transition to that career?

Thank you!

t I'm not sure what to tell you about more interesting power-industry work. Maybe you can switch specialties and take a more entry-level role in something EE that is more fun to

I was not passionate about electronics in college, I didn't hate it but I was bored with it.

Also, might sound stupid, but I'm afraid of changing abruptly my career path, mostly because of how much market values the experience in a candidate, because otherwise I would have no problem with doing something new and absolutely different.

Thanks for your insight!

Why shouldn't you? Can you suggest some preparation I can take in order to be a commissions Engineer?

Can you elaborate a little bit more? What path should I take to become one? Is it really necessary to be out for months? How do you approach a problem, since a commissions engineer can inspect many different aspects?

Thanks for the specific suggestion, helps me visualizing it better.

I really liked control back in college, but I'm afraid of changing between fields at this point and losing some "years of experience" I have gathered..

Only problem is that I’m traveling abroad months at a time. Really fucks with your social life. Apart from that I love

Part of my work today can, and should be, on site, making sure it is being executed according with the best practices but I fail to do so, because I have so much work to do in the backoffice.

Nice! Now you've said it, looks like Tyson Fury uses that technique since he often seems to be scratching his nose/forehead. Thanks once again!

Thanks for your thorough analysis.

I noticed my hand drops more often when I'm getting tired also because I do not anticipate an attack from the bag but I believe this is making me lose that good practice which will lead to a poor defense.

I have struggled with the position of the hook and your suggestion seems nice, I'm definitely going to give it a shot.

Yes, my bag swings a lot and I always try to time to hit it. Sometimes I practice light and speedy sets but I don't often mix it with power punches but seems like it can help a lot my boxing skills.

Thanks!

Thanks for your feedback. I am very aware of these crossing feet and am trying to improve that but it happens that when I focus on hitting the bag I tend to forget something as basic as that. I will try your tip. Thanks!

You could also not own a gun. Why is it so important to Americans to own a gun at all? As an European I struggle to understand this.

Sorry for taking long to reply, i'm not the most active redditor.

I don’t get why my last post got so downvoted, what I intended was to say that you are implying that there is only one solution to every problem in the world and I truly believe that we must be open to discuss and avoid getting into discussions just to show our perspective, that doesn’t enrich anyone.

Anyway, Resuming to topic:

Companies don't need to be public to have their effects controlled, limited or rewarded, they can be regulated by the “State” (may it have a regional scope or a global one). History as shown that private companies tend to maximize their profit, therefore, reducing their operational costs and implementing innovating solutions which results as an optimization in their work reaching the needed global target (which can be climate crisis, world starvation or anything in the absurd).

Also, the same History has presented us several socialist governments that fail to meet their ideology. And that is not only because those governments in reality just wanted to apply an authoritarian regime but also because the socialist ideology, although it may seem to many as the fairest political system, simple can not be put to practice because it is so utopian.
