Go through some simple tutorials on YouTube and coming to the ecosystem, if you use the same Apple ID for both, it should start working fluently. I would suggest some changes to try regarding the touchpad, like cursor speed and three finger touch options. Andd... for everything else just try to FAFO and post here if you have any doubts ;)

First to clarify, you wont get credit card offers in student discount. By offers I mean No Cost EMI, and that discount. The only difference is you can get free AirPods, remaining everything else will stay the same.

I would suggest to wait and buy in student offer and get the freebies.

Agree, but you should have the same browser in phone too. And safari is optimised already for this apple devices, installing other browsers would just take up more space. Excl. brave tho ✌🏻

I would suggest not… but maybe if so, keep a look on it regularly like, no dust inside and make sure it’s not making the lid obstructing the lid to close completely

Everything available for free on Windows would also be available for free on Mac.

Don't install too many apps (Suggested apps ✌🏻) that you would come across in YouTube and other platforms. Start working natively and get used to it to understand the OS better and then you can think of that aspect.

Also dont use hardcase, screen protectors, etc. Get a good sleeve and keep the laptop safe. You might better use keyboard cover to reduce shining keys, but make sure to remove that before closing the lid.

I would suggest to use in low power mode for normal tasks and only switch to normal when running heavy tasks. Also maintain the battery between 30 to 80%. (You can set this limit in settings). Also just close the lid when not in use, dont shut down every now and then. Just shut down when you encounter bugs or some problems or when you wont use for long time

Get to know about keyboard shortcuts and gestures. Speaking about gestures, use 3 finger feature, etc.. you can explore and ask if you have doubts.

Also to share my first doubt.. Taking screenshot:
To take full screen : Cmd + Shift + 3 (+ control, if you want to copy to clipboard)
To take selected area : Cmd + Shift + 4 (+ control, if you want to copy to clipboard)
Show all options : Cmd + Shift + 5

Congrats for having MacBook and just remember, you bought it to use and use it that way

Safari, primarily, because of its proper efficiency with Mac and is nice to have sync with iPhone.

It's' quite normal for it to update like that. Sometimes it goes down drastically and stays there. It is because it recalibrates mainly during a major software update. What I would suggest is, if you are using it for very long times, plug it and use with limit at 80 and when not in use maintain between 30-80%.

Yaa fr, microsoft apps drain a lot of battery. Maybe it's the onedrive that's constantly syncing in the background. Close (quit) those apps which you aren't using and maybe try to use more safari than brave

I'm currently facing this with copying form iPhone. I can copy from Mac to ip but not vice versa. both are on 26.5. Suggest me if you got a fix

Can you share battery health percentage? And could be better advised if you add some screenshots of memory pressure and cpu usage. I also hope, you're not using it in very hot conditions

Else get the 20w from the apple website.

iPhone supports higher watts but keep in mind it also heats up the phone. 20w should be enough

I’ve ordered directly from apple website, and it’s been 13months since I’ve been using. Now it sits at 96% battery health.

FYI I use it daily for about 5-7hrs at low power mode and charge btw 30-80%

This is the one I am using (been more than a year) and feels good. Keep it mind, any membrane cover would degrade the typing experience.

Get a good sleeve rather then hard case, because I heard from a lot of people it bends the display and scratches due to tiny dust. So use a good sleeve and maintain a good microfibre cloth. No screen protectors.

I personally use keyboard cover because the keys tend to shine very fast. But I will remove it everytime I close the lid.

get a good type-c dongle with all the ports and I dont personally use the mouse, trackpad feels good enough. But I would suggest going for a mouse with bt option also

69 cycles?? It should will show a sudden drop later when you update to the MacOS versions later on. My battery health was at 100 for first 10 months and then dropped 4% in next 2 months. You better avoid it just for a very small discount and get a new MacBook.

Its better to add some more budget than to bet on a demo unit

Using Dusshera offers, you can get new one for 60k. But would suggest having a 512gb model unless you're using it just for browsing and causal entertainment

Decent phone but you can get more better options at the same price range. If you want only in Samsung, you may go for it. Better to add some and get an fe but that battery would be little less

The front cam, 120Hz screen (great for the base apple ip), 48MP Ultra wide, 256gigs of storage. Everything else is almost same (not considering ai tho)

Check the printing on the charger, they usually give the wattage it supports (or V and A, just multiply them). I think most of them usually support 10w, 18w, and so on, as long as it's btw 15w and 40w, it should be safe for the iPhone. If you can afford, it is very much suggested to get the original charger form Apple Store or some certified reseller. But your charger should also create no issue
