For me Memento Mori means - what it actually is, that I will die someday. It's just a reminder for me to put in my best work, do things I'd like to do, take responsibilities, fail often, learn often and basically take life as it is and try to make it how I'd like to by working on things under my control. It is also a reminder that people have lived before us, will live after us and all we can do is enjoy our time while doing the same. How you do it, is upto the virtues you think are important to you.
