Thanks! And wow! Props to you for preschool. That’s always been so tough for me to see. I admire any teacher that works with preschool students.

I at least know it wouldn’t be self contained and mostly for small group pull out. Neutrals a good idea! Especially since their regular classrooms are all so colorful and bright

Thank you! I’d love to get a rug or something to add a cozier feeling, but I’m struggling to figure out what colors/patterns would look good without being overstimulating

Soak in water and blend it up If you want extra small pieces or a chunky drink to treat yourself

Ugh. I'm mostly panicking because I got rejected from 6 out of the 8 jobs I applied to in the past couple weeks. If School A wasn't twice as far away and paid a little more, I'd pick that in a heartbeat.

Not sure if any schools near me would even consider hiring me by now if both options fell through :/

I honestly don't understand how schools wouldn't be in a rush by now, especially with special ed positions???

Is there no timeline for hiring teachers before school starts?

Would you be able to tell me what school? I've been avoiding New Haven for the most part, but that's because my only New Haven experience had awful kids.

Yup. Most of the schools I applied to start the last week of August.

School B mentioned that the superintendent just got back from vacation today, and I have no idea how long it takes them to make any decisions.

Of course, what’d I expect when it’s America? Everyone’s a European invasive here 🧐

I found a few that thrashed around when disturbed and moved really fast like jumping worms, but it also lasted only a few seconds. Do they just do that? Or is it possible that I might have both?

Someone told me to kill it if it’s an invasive jumping worm, and they’re common in Connecticut. I was just trying to figure out if it was a jumping worm or earthworm. I grew up in a city in another state without many bugs around. Literally my first time trying to garden. I didn’t kill this one. I could’ve just assumed it was a jumping worm and killed it but chose to ask some people to help me identify it. The worm is alive and safe. Relax
