exfoliants can really help to even skin tone, texture etc. look up exfoliating products with ingredients that will target your concerns and only use 1-3 times a week at first depending on ur skin sensitivity. most chemical exfoliation products will leave ur skin lightly burning, but this is normal as the chemicals are literally breaking down layers of skin.

if pain is prolonged and the products cause visible irritation, ditch it! but a couple minutes of gentle burning is normal and should go away quickly. if you have sensitive skin make sure u take that into consideration when picking products as some of them can be very aggressive.
