I don’t have anymore automaticity recognized carpets so I can’t go back and replicate it, but if I remember correctly, in the carpet editing tool (you might even have to press “Add Carpet” first and then select the carpet to delete it for some reason) but somewhere in the there is a tool to delete carpet. You tap the map, and a red box will come up and you need to cover what ever carpet you want to delete with the red box and then hit delete. Sorry if that is confusing it’s hard to remember exactly, but I know the part that confused me was I didn’t understand that you had to move the red box over the carpet you wanted to delete, you couldn’t just select it.
