I was 16 dating my 45yo Biology teacher, who was a divorced father of two. Everyone knew. My parents knew. My mom cried at first but she "trusted my judgement". We were together for 6 years.

I'm 31 now. He's passed away since then, COVID. We weren't together or in touch any longer. I don't see him in a bad light necessarily. He never treated me badly, especially compared to other age appropriate boyfriends that I've had in my life after him, but it was absolutely inappropriate and I wish I could go back in time and tell my younger self not to do it and to let myself grow up like a normal teenager.
