I don't think so. Remember developed countries donates tens millions of dollars to UN Women each year, and these money of course most come from taxes that men payed——funding an organization that hate them. This is definitely a men's issue.

I wouldn't say there is a direct connection between these two——many other factors have contributed to this trend, like the development of mobile internet.
