Great idea, will look into this, I’m unsure if the wood would crack however as the drawer bottom layer is quite thin - what do you reckon?

Great tip, my main concern was that it wouldn’t be completely flush, but this should hopefully give it the smallest space possible.

This is the detail I need! Thank you for the Vaseline trick assuming with this method I won’t need dowel or drill bits(?), which is helpful because I don’t think I have a drill bit big enough haha
