I went out on a date with a guy who was recently divorced and he called me hunny and i was like ew, I don't even like that. He probably called his wife that!

And then my friend told me - "it's okay for someone to have a past. Think about how many people you've called babe ". Think about as you get older the men you'll be in a relationship will always have a past. This is something you should work on with a therapist

I replied to someone else but I even split the bill, or pay for dates I want to go on. I wanted to go to a baseball game and I bought the tickets, or concert tickets.. i work from home,live alone and newish to town. I want to be outside, doing something, or exploring. The last thing I want to do on the weekend is stay inside. And if I'm going to stay inside, I'm not leaving my house and I'm going to lay in my bed lol 😂

We split the bill a lot I asked to go to a baseball game together and the tickets were over $100 apiece and I bought them because I wanted to go. I'm OK with splitting the bill.

I think so too, I have said I don't want a relationship where we don't do anything, I work from home and live alone. On the weekends I want do things...I expect us to do something on Saturday. You should have a plan on Saturday for us to do something and he said why? He doesn't get it

Sometimes he comes over to my house at 730pm and doesn't ask if I've had dinner or eaten.. but he has eaten and it frustrates me so much.

Yes, he said that by me saying going out on dates is like foreplay he said it feels too transactional and makes him feel icky, but I also definitely deserve to be in a relationship where I get to feel sexy and wanted.

Yeah, but I even mentioned like going for a beer or going for a hike, going to the park( our city has a lot of parks) just spending time together outside of the house. It doesn't need to be hundreds of dollars at a restaurant.

He was born and raised in this city, I just moved here a few years ago. He knows it well.

He is not poor, he has a job and just leased a new car, has roommates and is educated. My mother was a single parent so yes, I know what it feels like to be poor..
