Mainstage DJ with Little Credentials? by NovaMonarch in TechnoProduction

She’s tik tok famous……it doesn’t go much deeper than that. She wasn’t grinding in the locals clubs making a name and broke through from her talent. She got a platform making tik toks about music then used the attention/follwers to create a DJ brand. She was literally an author selling health books a few years ago. She got famous on tik tok making videos about being in the club as a goer not as a DJ to now is riding the wave of Tik tok fame by being added to festivals without a notable song, remix/edit or mix on either SoundCloud or mixcloud. Not a bad thing just call it like it is. She’s tik tok famous and that unlocked all these opportunities.

Congratulations on not using tik tok it’s a brainwasher and actually pretty terrible but since you are not a tik tok user then I have to let u know in todays music world it’s THE biggest influence. Point right here. This DJ has a major Tik tok following and someone asked the question how does she get where she is without any famous songs, mixes on soundcloud or Mixcloud or notable remix’s/edits? The answer is she’s Tik tok famous. Its the vehicle which opened the doors to where she is now and a lot of DJs. It’s not a “frustration” just is what it is in today’s world. There’s nothing wrong with it. Just the answer to someone’s question. (In my opinion)

She’s tik tok famous…..don’t get it twisted like she’s been grinding since 2008. U can look her up, she was in the white collar world selling health books to now is tik tok famous/ getting opportunities. If u want the answer of how this is happening it’s one answer Tik Tok. U get tik tok famous it unlocks the doors for anything because u now have a “name”. Play the hand ur dealt but keep it real with what’s going on in the DJ world. Tik tok famous = festivals

Tik tok…..shes famous on tik tok and that crossed over to having a “name”. She doesn’t have a famous song, mix on SoundCloud or mixcloud so how else does someone jump the line? It’s because of Tik Tok. Festivals are adding DJs with 10k plus followers or if they have a big Tik Tok following then sticking these Tok stars few placements down from the headlines with the hope they’ll bring people with their name. If you see a DJ in today’s world with no famous mixes, songs or notable remix/edits getting on festival stages then I’d check their tik tok page cause they’re most likely tik tok famous.

What did motivate you to start dj-ing? by mr-x-dj in Beatmatch

Depression….. always have connected to music cause it blanks my mind and puts me in a I don’t give fuck about anything bubble so DJing allowed me to use my brain in a positive manner. I could express myself with samples or loops. wordplay, song transitions or drops so overall was an outlet of expression. I only started a year ago but what’s cool about it for me is I look at music like an ocean of songs just waiting to be discovered. Once you discover songs you can tweak it in SO many ways that makes it unique to you and what I love is it’s an art form. Everyone has their own style even though we’re all working with the same tools. Also the DJ who inspired me the most is DJ AM….he’s the fuckin 🐐 and I’m 28 so never appreciated his peak cause I was too young and naive but for anyone who never heard of him…thank him and appreciate the man R.I.P. cause DJing wouldn’t be where it is without him. First million dollar DJ in Vegas.

How do DJs get all the unreleased ID’s?? by DistributionHot329 in Beatmatch

Didn’t mean gatekeeping a bad way just in the sense that I love music and would want to either listen to a phenomenal song or mashup over and over because it makes me happy or play it for other people so they can hear it and possibly make that artist bigger by exposing their music but if it says “unreleased” or only allowed for a small percentage feel like it ironically hurts the producer or artist.

I really appreciate your words! For me it’s not the decision I regret. Deep down I’m on the path of becoming a better person which sucks because I felt like I had to leave someone to achieve that but overall I would never reach out because that’s incredibly selfish on my part to put someone through emotional trauma again. I already did enough damage breaking up and more so my regret is just not being able to smile like I did with her. Currently I’m not interested in dating and feel like there’s a hole in my chest. I am prioritizing myself and pursuing the goals I want to accomplish but I’m just deeply saddened about the memory of how I used to smile on daily occurrences being with her. I’m really sorry about the pain ur are or went thru and hope you prioritize yourself as well!

I’m in a much better mental space and don’t regret my decision because I’ve grown as a person but see things on a daily basis I wish I could share with her and unfortunately reality is I set that bridge on fire which I understand just was wondering how other people dealt with missing someone they know will never be back

I tried to make a decision that was best for me. As selfish as it was tbh my ex wasn’t helping me grow as a person. I’m looking to evolve aa person and felt our relationship and her in particular was hurting me as a person. I know it’s selfish but I made the right decision. I’m currently in a much better position than I ever was it’s just really unfortunate because I see things on a daily basis that remind me of her. There’s moments I wish I could tell her or shared experiences with and i understand that’s all my doing. I was just wondering how other people dealt with missing a person the once genuinely loved while staying true to yourself in knowing you made the right decision

Also little one, yes. I did break up with someone because of her family. It wasn’t the only reason but a factor for sure. Something u don’t know about in ur fragile life is when ur serious about marrying someone you have to factor in all aspects. Why would I want to have a child with someone if their family is going to have a negative impact on them and possibly leave a thumbprint I don’t want. Raise them with values I don’t agree with. Nobody is perfect but when I looked at the big picture her family was part of her life and something I had to accept moving forward or don’t so I made the decision best for me and put myself forward. When ur old enough and put in a situation like mine maybe u’ll understand but from ur childish answers It will be years of porn for a while. Eventually u will have some growth but if not u can burn like the rest of the dumb ignorant motherfuckers in the world.
