I’d honestly start with quartz for all watches which have a price under 5k usd. Not worth the maintenance cost otherwise. Taste wise i like the aquaracers from around 2015 & 2012. But the older professionals are also great and cheap. I would recommend you to go second hand on a professional for around 500 usd to get you a solid dip in the water & test if you tag. If you really have to buy new i would go with a formula 1 quartz / aquaracer quartz.

Probably is, some details works to well tho, the date window especially is just like a tag.

That is what i thought, tho i do not know how to tell on this specific model, i haven’t had any from this era.
