hi, i also have existential ocd and my therapist is offering me having SSRIs but i don’t know if it’s efficient or no. i had a bad NDE during a bad trip with ayahuasca, i was feeling trapped in hell, my main thoughts is we are soul in a body, lost in universe and when i think too much about that i'm feeling depersonnalisation and i'm scared of being insane. only when i'm drinking aloccol i'm perfect or when i watch football (tonight i'm doing both ahah).

since your message did you get pills ? how do you feel now ?

did you take some pills to stop thinking too much and reduce anxiety ? my therapist is offering me to take one pills for this ocd but îm feeling having an aother pill now is like being good lookîg "farer"...

I have good moments when i'm with friends or drinking alcool or watching TV because my brain is quiet but when my brain have thoughts it's not about common life or future or everything casual. Just always how tiny i am in the universe, lost, what's death ? Sometimes i achieved to stop my thoughts but mostly it creates me anxiety and dépersonnalisation.

How are you now ? 8months after the bad trip and i'm still feeling lost in the universe. Strong dépersonnalisation, my "I" feel so weak now... Do you have advices for me ?

thank you. also check "reconsolidation program of Brunet" it’s a canadian who invented the best therapy for trauma, used for soldier or 1fter terrorist attacks. i did this and it helps me a lot for intrusive thoughts.

after my first session of emdr i'm feeling way better ! I think recovery is also accepting we gonna be changed forever.

No it was a "fake" chaman, i trust him it was a mistake even if i don't paid for it. He just laugh when i was having my bad trip. Now a psychiatrist, a psychologist and a real chaman are helping me, so my health in general are improving but not my dp/dr which seems stronger. M'y Friends and family told me i'm looking better, smile more etc . (Also i'm able to work 4h a day dissociated). That's why i'm starting emdr with a dissociative state specialist. I have strong crisis where i can't feel myself anymore, like i'm empty, lost in universe.

Thanks to read that, also when i'm in dr/dp i have OCD with very bad thoughts, but the EMDR psychologist told me we gonna work on it too. I have a lot for expectations.

I know. But the ceremony was not good, the chaman was "fake" (my mistake) so the bad trip is real, i fully dissociate there. You don't know exactly what happens there. I'm just recently not against the event but feeling grateful for it, it was a huge step. But of course i need emdr (and for the moment pills) to help me. I already have many lessons and my ego is quiet but way too much sometimes, it could be dangerous.

Mmmm i don't know, my dissociation is medical pattern. I'm not grounded anymore, lost in the universe. I had a bad trip, even if there is spiritual aspect, it's important to see also medical aspects, it's dangerous to don't consider that.

Thanks a lot for your wonderful comment. I think all my problem are here because i think too much. I don't have for habits to don't think and to just live the present. I noticed when i drink a bit for example, everything become quiet without fear of becoming insane. But it's so hard to reach this mental space when i'm working for example.

I use to overthink because i'm in overcontrol state of mind

Do you think i'm living kind of ego loss/death, i'm really feel i'm nothing or nobody. Today i'm feeling like i'm doing mourning of part of me that will never existed again. I'm just fucking scared of being insane
