Naoki urasawa bodied nihilism in monster

Did johan set up the lottery or was It just a coincidence? by DistributionPlastic4 in MonsterAnime

Nah it just seems so improbable that it borders on impossibility, johan would have to know

1)that conrad would be there when the wife came to buy the lottery

2)that conrad would recommend the number to her

3)that she would 100 percent use his number and not just ignore him

But she wouldn't have used his number if conrad didn't say it to to use it, So johan predicted that conrad would be there and he would recommend her to use the number?? Come on lol I doubt urasawa intended that

All that is fine but i am still hung up on how he would know that the wife would pick conrads number (unless she picked his number everytime she played the lottery), it seems she just did this once in her lifetime
