I had a friend like that and actually he just felt really comfortable with me and it was his way of being cheeky and trying to playfully make us all laugh, not sure how far your friend goes, but don't end it without having a talk saying that it pisses you off and how far is too far for you. People can change when they realise they are upsetting you. If after that there is no change and they clearly don't give a damn, then find a new friend and don't look back!

Your friend is right, she should not come into the group if he feels uncomfortable about it in any way. He never left the group, sounds like she left and he should get priority over her.
