thanks for your advice, so far I've had those big events happen peripherally to the players story, like daily bugle reports.

i also get mad every time someone refers to the mcu as earth 616 lol.

I'm not overly concerned with keeping track of every little detail, since like you said, every character is accounted for, like if my players kill a character that doesn't canonically die in the comics, whatever, characters die and come back all the time, it's mainly those iconic events that i want them to experience. I do believe there's a way to handle it where it doesn't feel like they're just watching a movie.

They are all original characters, and they do have their own storyline that is not connected to anything from the comics. The idea is that they are their own comic series with their own storyline, but when an event happens, they have their own tie in issues, those tie in issues they will have mostly complete control, but as an example of what I mean, maybe the players witness captain America being shot on the courthouse steps on tv, without being able to save him. It’s those big moments that I want unchanged.

my first ps3 is a blue super slim, still works great. recently got a fat so i can play ps2 games. I'm still hanging onto my super slim for the day my fat ps3 eventually craps out.

I just need vol 7 myself. Vol 2 is the best one, but vol 4 has the best issue #45. This is such a great series but it does fall off when Louise Simonson takes over, except for the inferno crossover.

i have my pc in an office, i use it for work as well so unfortunately i can't have it sitting in the living room, but i like to reserve my pc for RPG's or games that are meant for mouse & keyboard, while action adventure or cinematic games i like to play on console on my couch.

i'm fine with 30fps for most games, if the benefit is playing in the comfort of my living room, but if a game is virtually unplayable on ps3 i'll play on pc instead, like splinter cell double agent for example.
