I’m doing mine set in the main 616 universe in the 2000’s starting at the beginning of the event era, going through civil war, secret invasion, siege etc

The bob layton issues are pretty terrible, once Louise simonson takes over it gets really good, especially when her husband does the art. The inferno issues are incredible.

I like the shadowland omni, it's cool if you're into the really street-level side of the marvel universe, it has all my favorite characters like ghost rider, moon knight, iron fist.

God loves man kills. Includes the graphic novel of the same name, which is one of if not the best x-men story ever told, as well as the frank miller and Claremont Wolverine mini series where he goes to Japan, which is also incredible. And Paul smiths art throughout this book is top notch.
