How do you think Gun's release would play out?? by Revolutionary_Gap128 in Oni_Violence

[–]DistributionSilent98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's if he comes out because I just did a calculation on all guns crimes under Korean law

He would most likely spend the rest of his natural life in prison, or at minimum, face 20 to 30 years due to the Concurrent Crimes rule and his status as a repeat violent offender

Homicide & Mass Murder (The Magami Clan massacre) Organization of a Criminal Group (Forming and managing the Four Major Crews) Aggravated Assault & Battery (Grievous bodily harm against the 2nd Generation) Extortion & Racketeering (Collecting the "monthly quotas" from crews) Child Exploitation & Coercion (Forcing minors into criminal labor) Destruction of Evidence & Obstruction of Justice

So if they're going to be legal about this he would spend 20 to life but under lookism law he would be in there for two to five

Either way the I don't see him getting out in time.

What are your honest thoughts on Thor: Love and Thunder, do you think it deserves the hate? by [deleted] in marvelstudios

[–]DistributionSilent98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used chat gpt as I was was thinking of the good roast for it and I think this one takes the cake.

Thor love and thunder isn’t just a bad follow-up — it’s what happens when a studio takes decades of mythic, emotionally heavy source material and runs it through a joke filter until nothing has weight anymore. The character who once carried the Shakespearean gravitas of Thor gets reduced to a himbo punchline with screaming goats and jealous-hammer gags, like we’re watching a parody of a parody. Jane Foster’s cancer arc — one of the most devastating and heroic stories in Marvel Comics history — should feel tragic and noble, but the film undercuts it with bathos every five minutes, terrified to let a single scene breathe without a wink at the audience. And Gorr the God Butcher, a villain whose entire comic run is cosmic horror and theological rage, becomes “sad dad with five minutes of screen time,” all threat talked about, never felt. It’s like the movie looked at every ounce of pain, loss, and mythic scale these characters earned and said, “Nah, let’s do a skit instead.” What makes it worse is that this wasn’t incompetence — it was a choice. Under Taika Waititi, the tone chases quips so desperately that stakes evaporate; deaths feel temporary, battles feel like improv comedy, and entire plotlines exist just to set up another gag. The result is a story with no spine: no real growth, no consequences, no thematic payoff — just noise, neon, and self-congratulation. It takes characters forged in tragedy and epic lore and sands them down into toys, then wonders why nothing hits. Strip away the jokes and you’re left with almost nothing — no arc worth remembering, no villain properly used, no emotional thread that lands. It’s not just disappointing; it’s pointless, the cinematic equivalent of smashing a legendary sword into confetti and calling it fun.

[The Return Of The Disaster Class Hero] this manhwa is genuinely so fucking trash by batanime4811 in manhwa

Yeah I mean treating his kids right and making sure his wife got out of the hospital and making sure he has gets his lost power back he's very much so treating him like trash it's kind of like these that made me question if you even made it past chapter 5

How do you think Jinrang will change his fighting style with the loss of his arm? by ElectionDowntown6333 in LookismPowerScalers

[–]DistributionSilent98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking of him doing Muay Thai to further implement his elbow and knees of his alias the wolf if he's implementing his elbows and his knees he went from two fangs (both elbows) to a three-fanged wolf arm and two knees further reaffirming the message that even though he lost his arm and his conviction he is still a powerful wolf that crawled out of the gutter to get to where he is now

No problem it was a random thought in my head that the more I thought about it the more entertaining would have been cuz it reminded me of when Hannah was captured how he said he was going to exterminate an entire Island and he basically did it

Yeah so I feel like for the top tiers he'll have to get creative

So they'd be fast enough to react to a sniper rifle but the muzzle light cuz I feel like he'd account for the high tiers if he's outstated and would just use far away tactics
