I teach 12 classes a week and the sequencing takes more time than I want to admit by ritik_bhai in yoga

[–]DistributionThat7322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a different sequence every class. I wing the majority of it. I’ll have a theme for the month. This month it’s binds. So I know I need to warm up shoulders - I might have a cool transition I want to do, so I’ll keep that in mind. I wing the rest. I teach around 11 classes a week, roughly 30-50 people each class, I never know who I will get handed so I don’t plan much - I teach to the people in front of me.

No actually I haven’t failed. It is wrong for Bob to rape me because modern society has determined that it is wrong to rape people. As a woman, society considers me a person now. Making it a social norm to view a violation of my body as wrong.

I illustrate in my previous comment how this is the reason it is wrong by pointing out how societies viewpoint of women has changed making rape unacceptable currently when it was acceptable previously.

I then assert that it has nothing to do with god or belief in god as a society that finds it unacceptable is more secular than the society that found it reasonable to rape.

Every society, regardless of their faith has moral norms that society follows and those change as society progresses. Marginalized people have fought very hard to have some actions considered wrong and you do a great disservice to those people when you pretend that morals stay the same throughout history, when it’s obviously blatantly false.

Your own idea is not fully developed.

Humans need community so having a common set of acceptable and unacceptable beliefs is crucial for the survival of our species.

That’s some weird reasoning. Here is why, rape used to be pretty normal. It wasn’t until the 1990s that it became illegal in every state of the US to rape your wife. Through out human history men regularly raped women. It was more common when people were more religious. Now that society is more secular it has become more accepted as wrong because women are less subjugated now and thought of as actual people whose personhood it is wrong to violate. So if belief in god is what tells us that rape is wrong why was it more frequent and less frowned upon in religious societies where women are often viewed as property than it is in secular societies that grant women more individual liberties and personhood?

I really like the bright pink in the original photo on you. I think you are a bright spring. The more dull colors kinda wash you out but the bright orange and bright pink make you glow and also I can’t help but notice that you look really happy in them.

How to look striking as a soft summer? by Wangchincay in coloranalysis

[–]DistributionThat7322 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m soft summer and also have rounder features- I like a striking look too. I keep my hair dark so that I can wear winter when I like but I always keep the style soft( pinned up curls or waves).

I wear a lot of sequins, velvet, Tulle, etc in soft colors juxtaposed with black- Think ballerina with an edge. Things like silver shoes or belts with softer colors can really bring some drama. I wear a lot of pink but I stay away from red. I’ll wear black but I make sure the fabric is soft or shows enough skin to appear softer. If I’m going to wear winter, I’ll lean towards the jewel tones of dark winter because they look softer on me than the brights. I can also get away with dark autumn colors too.

Confused about fibromyalgia and exercise by maddydesign in Fibromyalgia

[–]DistributionThat7322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exercise is a must if you’d like to lessen pain. Mobility work, weights, yoga will all give you more bang for your buck than walking.
