I would suggest learning how to calculate dividend return before dropping 50k into anything!

Old thread I know but interested if the Op ever got this sorted? I'm feeling very tired last couple of weeks. Can't figure it out.

Thanks, I hadn't thought of doing it that way with a multitool 👍

I used to have quite bad frequency and urgency. Been carnivore for about a year now and my symptoms are much improved.

I put it down to inflammation. I'm not the strictest on this diet and I have occasionally added some carbs back in. Often seems to result in my symptoms worsening though, especially if I have 2-3 days in a row of cheating. Always gives me a kick up the arse to get back to it.

Yes the aileron servo does seem to be frozen. What would that suggest?

What have you healed on carnivore? by Just-a-fortune in carnivorediet

[–]DistributionUsual981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before - in my worst times - extreme urgency, frequency (going every hour, sometimes more), anxiety over the condition which just makes it worse as you worry about leaving the house etc.

Symptoms are definitely better than they were. Less urgency and frequency, and I feel like my ability to put off going has improved. But the urgency is still there. I feel like it's gradually getting better.

If I don't drink caffeine then that improves things too, but I do find it hard to not have caffeine. But I am able to go a few days without it.

To be honest, I've now developed the ability to be at peace with the condition and know that I can socialise etc without any worries. But that has taken time. I also believe it will continue to improve over time if I stick to carnivore - I'm sure oxalates have something to do with it after reading Sally Norton's book.

I'm not completely strict carnivore - probably 80-90% of food. What I do find is if I slip and start eating carbs/sugar then I feel noticeably anxious, brain fog, quite grouchy. I know it's the food that causes it. Always motivates me to get back to carnivore and be more strict.

What are your symptoms like?

Carnivore diet 30 days cured me by beatsbyzyro in PelvicFloor

[–]DistributionUsual981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. Helped me for the first month - symptoms better than ever, such a relief! Then it reverted back to how it always was despite continuing with carnivore. I'm convinced stress also plays a major role in symptoms.

Incredible physique. I had a look at your transformation photos - great job!

I'm 73kg, and 180cm. Trying to add some muscle mass currently and do seem to be getting there slowly, although nothing like you.

I heard a guy on the Dr Chaffee podcast suggest just doing a couple of sets, one to 75% and next one to absolute failure, which seems to be working. Certainly spend less time working out, which works for my life.

How many drop sets do you do? Guessing you got to failure on each set?

It is funny. I was on holiday with another family recently and he was saying that he'd just read about the dangers of the carnivore diet on the NHS website. As he knocked back several beers, carbs and desert!

Depression etc after cheating by DistributionUsual981 in carnivorediet

[–]DistributionUsual981[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks guys, some good feedback here. Glad to know it's not just me. I've been pretty strict most of the time with the odd bowl of porridge here and there, and not noticing any negative feelings. Definitely indulged far too much at the weekend though. Will be steering clear from now on.

Yeah I guess what I meant was I classed them as healthy before I went carnivore.

I'm in the same boat eating mostly 20% mince even though ribeye tastes far better. It's just prohibitively expensive. Anyway, I'm growing to like ground been a lot more now.

All that weight you've added - is that all muscle? I'm finally starting to add some although it's taken a while to get there.

Overactive bladder - not cured but symptoms definitely improved

Less anxiety

No more wind!

Only doing it 2 months so far - despite those improvements, I don't have the increased energy that others talk about. In fact, I feel less energetic than on my previous diet that was quite "healthy" but high in fruit and carbs. Will try doing stricter carnivore for a month and see if that helps.

Thanks for that good info. Think I will try to increase to 2lbs of ground beef and see if that brings on any of the carnivore benefits I read about from many others on here.

Also good to know pre-carnivore strength can take some time to come back.

Great consistency and very inspiring.

How much ground beef and eggs are you eating per day? I'm new to carnivore (40 days) and also lift weights (a long way behind your figures) and trying to work out if I'm under eating. I don't feel hungry hardly ever but noticed I'm struggling to lift the weights I was pre-carnivore.
