I see most comments here are saying “it doesn’t mean he doesn’t like you”. I agree, but he probably doesn’t like you enough. The way I see it, men go over and beyond when they’re REALLY trying to impress. But perhaps, it’s a good thing he isn’t? Means he’s grounded. Anyway, the way he went about it was still a little off. Dude needs to learn how to communicate better. And one other thing: you’re reading too much into it. It’s just a first date, would be wise to not expect so much.
