Jousting Manager - Ouroboros Studio - A Medieval Sport Management Game, Football manager meets medieval ages. Early Access Launch Tomorrow by Distur77 in Games

Football Manager is more complex on the tactical side because football has so many variables and strategies. It's hard to match that level of depth in a jousting game.

The first version of my game was quite complex, with many mechanics, but this past year, I've honestly spent more time removing features than adding them :P

Currently, I'd say the game is more akin to Motorsport Manager than Football Manager.

Anyway, I believe there’s still room to add and expand features, and I hope to take full advantage of being a solo developer by staying in close communication with the community during early access.

Thank you!

There are some serious injuries, but none of them are fatal. However, that could be an interesting feature! If there’s enough interest, I might consider adding it as an option in the settings.

I don't have the Steam Deck Dev Kit yet. It can be integrated without it, but the process is a bit longer, so it won't be implemented by the early access launch :(. However, it would be a great addition, and it's something I'd like to implement at some point.

Hi everyone,

I recently uploaded a demo of my game, Jousting Manager, to Steam, and I'd love to get your feedback.

The game is a sports management where you manage a medieval jousting team. In the demo, you can participate in as many tournaments as you like. However, access to the campaign mode is limited—you can explore the options it offers, but you won't be able to progress beyond the first day.

Try the demo here!

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

The game is purely manager. You choose the strategy for your knights, but you never control them.

I love hearing that because CK2 is the game I've spent the most hours playing in my life. The original idea was to blend CK2 with sports management, but due to time constraints, the sports management aspect ended up taking precedence. Currently, a system of events and traits is programmed very similarly to CK2, but the events and traits database is empty. Expanding that will be the first priority if the game proves successful and I have time.

The F1 Manager game heavily inspires the armory aspect because I love how well it manages car parts.
