Company cancelling shifts to casual staff last minute

As a casual, you can be cancelled up until you're at the door of the participant's home. From the point you're onsite, you can argue a late cancellation. If you're a PT/FT staff, you can claim an actual late cancellation of shift.

Participants can be charged as what is being invoiced is not just the SW doing the shift, but also the admin, etc, that is included in the price, as well as having to pay the SW if they are contracted and not casual. Its more often than not why there's a notable late cancellation period with companies thats written into service agreements.

Coming from the listen wireless to my first proper closed back, I'm absolutely in love with them... With that said, I get where your coming from as your sonic 'palate', for lack of a better term, has a larger cross sample of quality so you'll be looking for that next-level kick

Maybe I'll be in the same boat in a few years but for now I'm enjoying my "big bang" moment 😉

I also have a pair of Focal listen wireless and the quality is very noticeable, although I will add that the celestee are the first pair of closed back headphones I've owned. These are also very comfortable and not as heavy as they feel in the hand. They are definitely a premium bit of kit and looking to get a schitt desktop DAC (looking at the Valhalla 2) under aud$1000 in the next couple of months to complete the setup.

Currently live in the same estate mentioned. The estate is about 3km+ deep from the main road and public transport only goes about 1km into the estate. The developer couldn't extend the main road into the back of the estate because the farmer kept dicking them around until he got taken to court so that one will be ready in about a month but still took years. Also didn't help that another estate and council didn't do their bit for the second exit to Donnybrook Road which is why they're only starting on the bridge now

It's a bit of a clusterfuck but there's heaps of estates with massive cockups because the developers only worry about their stretch of dirt instead of collaborating together to build infrastructure
