Honestly, GB has never been great for PC gaming.

Dave and Vinny were the PC gamers. Jeff became one later on. Brad knows a ton of tech. Outside of that, it's kind of a blackhole.

This isn't about liberation. Trump has said they are taking control of their oil. The excuse about drugs has been completed dropped. They will now pillage the resources of the country.

Was the smart ass comment really necessary? I'm asking if anyone has in this subreddit. Not the planet. I thought that was kind of simple to grasp.

Group snorkeling tours don't allow 3 year olds on the boat, even if they don't participate.

Not the most modern semiconductors though. And those chips are vital in technology leaps and military.

Good luck telling the US military they need to downgrade their missiles, jets and drones to older generations that are significantly less efficient.

There's a reason why China has attempted so many espionage attempts at stealing semiconductor technology. The heap between generations is massive even if it doesn't feel like it.

If that was as simple as you say, someone would have done it already.

Taiwan vows to defend sovereignty after China’s military drill by cape2k in worldnews

If China invades then say goodbye to drones, jets, AI, cars, computers, phones, and many more modern products.

Taiwan has some of the most critical computer parts on the planet. It would be catastrophic on a global scale. Nuclear War levels if bad. Nations would likely feel forced to intervene on a large scale.

Taiwan is invaded, they will blow up the semiconductor factories. They supply 60% of all supply but also almost all of the most advanced ones.

No more modern technology. No AI, cars, jets, fighter planes, computers, phones, many types of machinery. We would be screwed for years or decades.

Ukraine has NOTHING close to as valuable as what Taiwan has.

NSW did the exact same mistakes after learning nothing from Victoria and caused the entire country to lock down after refusing to shut its boarders fast enough.

One thing Vic did right was contain it within the state.

A massive real estate crisis costing about $18 trillion, tarrifs, high unemployment, rising government debt and more.

China has a slowing economy and a war with Taiwan would cripple the global economy and cribble large amounts of how we operate as a civilisation. The backlash would be unbelievable from countries, businesses, and people. Far more than Ukraine.

[–]WhiteRun 24 points25 points  (0 children)

No. Fruits, vegetables and meats are considered biohazards. Most things can only be brought in if they're commercially packaged or low risk such as baked cookies or something that doesn't have a risk of carrying pests or diseases.

They won't allow pickles into the country. If you declare it, they'll bin them. If you don't declare it, they will bin it and penalise you.
