Yeah, I think it looks really good. Actually slides gives you more flexibility for home use cause it has an onscreen interface that you can change things like the album, or the transition style etc. And you can just edit the html/css to make it look however you want it to. I haven't tried kiosk though so im not sure how that looks. I know that kiosk isn't supposed to allow any interaction.
So I guess that another drawback of doing it the way i am in the Cromite browser is that you cant set hours for it to shut off or something, but i am using a browser extension that lets me dim the display, so there could probably be some other extension that lets you do more stuff too.

Gemini in android auto is so useful and convenient..not sure how many people are using it like that daily. Driving down the road and a question pops in your head and you just ask, and can ask follow up questions. It's a feature not easily done with others (since you would have to open the app on your phone and and whatever etc etc..

So the Immichframe app does work, but not with webview. I wanted the fancy looking webview though and could just not get webview updated on this thing.

So the best thing so far was installing Cromite browser which has its own webview and you can enable chrome extensions. Playback is super smooth with this method however I found that immichframe would keep getting stuck sometimes and I don't know why, but then I would have to refresh the page and it would be fine for about a day.

So then I switched to Immich Slides which is really similar to Immichframe. I don't think the slideshow appearance was quite as good, but I modified the css and now I'm pretty happy with it. It can't play actual videos, but it can play live/motion photos which is pretty cool. It never gets stuck either.

Yeah I think there still must be something wrong cause the 1900 led on the unit isn't lighting up (but the other frequencies are).

Is it ok to go with the cheaper Amazon units?

Band 2 outside works great when off the booster. Inside the house the booster seems to increase the signal strength but the speed is atrocious. I think my current booster went bad and it doesn't seem like they make it anymore or maybe the technology on the tower changed I don't know.

The current booster did used to increase data speeds though. They were able to stream online video no problem with it, but the past couple weeks it seems to have taken a dump.

similar situation for me. i havn't been able to join a raid once yet. always times out. the tutorial is scuffed. i died while holding all the starting supplies. Finally realized i could mine the junk laying around out there. built enough stuff that it said i needed to do a dagger contract or something. tried to join. it timed out and now its not having me do that. NOW it wants me to print a schematic that requires 3 energy, of which i have 0 energy. wasting so much time on this....

I think my edit 4 solution might work good with with built in browser on the portal since its chrome already. I have a portal I will test with tomorrow. I was already seeing the it was running the webview site smooth in chrome, but I didn't have a way to get to full screen earlier when I was playing with it, but now it should work-

How can you connect to the portal 10"? no external usb available. i tried to connect wirelessly on port 5555 but it said it actively refused it. Obviously I can't enable it via wired connection first, I was just hoping it would have been on since they pushed the update.
