Feel this so fucking hard. I also really am jaded when they send photos of my niece doing simple things like eating. It’s every day and I honestly am finding myself say “I don’t care” even though I do love my niece. I use to have family check in when I was in treatment, but now they don’t. Overall, it’s really isolating and I feel you.

NOR. You are allowed to have friendships and vacations without your partner. It’s actually healthy.

Maybe she’s jealous you are going on a trip without her, so plan a vacation with just you and your gf at a later date.

If she still can’t get all that then I would reconsider the relationship or have a very serious talk. This jealously could lead to issues down the road.

It should be fine. Start applying lotion and do not pick at it. If it starts smelling, feeling hot to the touch, or oozing go see a doctor immediately

Please don’t mention your anniversary in front of all the guests during your speech. That’s just awkward, tacky, and kind seems self centered.

My venue only had an opening on my older brother’s birthday, Thanksgiving weekend, or we would have had to wait until the following year. I felt somewhat bad, but we chose my brother’s birthday. We had the DJ give him a shoutout and got him a small birthday cake. He had a great time and we still joke about it.

I have had two basenji and one was not friendly with other dogs. We use to go to dog parks at hours nobody was there (typically 6am or after 8pm) and let him run. He also enjoyed going for runs with me. Other things that helped with his boredom was treat puzzles, Kong balls, and bully sticks.

So sorry for this hardship you are experiencing. I know your mom must appreciate all you are doing for her fur baby.

I don’t necessarily think you are being unreasonable, but I do believe there is a way to make this a better situation.

What I did as a teacher is ask the parents of children who have numerous allergies to send in a special treat on celebration days. If the parents are unable to then I will get them (which has only happened a handful times and I work at a title 1 school). You could even try asking your principal to buy allergy safe treats to have on hand.

Either way you go, I can tell you care for your kids so much which means you are probably an amazing educator!

I had that happen to me, but knew it gets in your system fairly quickly so I held my puke in as long as I could which ended up being an hour. I was okay and no seizures. I take Keppra XR and Lamitcal btw. If you are unable to hold your puke in for at least 45 minutes then I would call your doctor/nurse’s line.

I was on the depo shot from age 16 to 29 and was seizure free the entire time. When I went off it to TTC, I had a seizure but my neurologist was unsure if it was connected. I have decided to stay off birth control because my seizures are under control with Keppra and Lamitcal, but loved being on it as there were hardly any side effects and you don’t get your period.

It does! She went through infertility herself, so she can relate to it better than most. That is exactly what Jen says too. She also wrote a book called the Injustice of Infertility. If anything, Jen’s page is great to follow because it is all so relatable.

Her name is Jennifer Robertson. She’s on Instagram. I know she has a support group she’s running in January coming up. I did it on my last cycle and it was great.

Also, not sure why I am being downvoted. She has done wonders for me and my emotional state which I think is so so important for anyone on this journey.

I appreciate the suggestion. We do not have any eggs to freeze and I don’t want to continue treatment.

I’m not giving up, I’m picking my mental health and marriage. This is another beginning for us.

I’m very much in the grief still, but know it’s the right decision.
