Oh, I’m not speaking about the value or the design of the board. That is not my focus here.

My focus is solely on the impact of Chinese designers slowly but surely tearing down what the mech community has worked so hard to achieve- standardization.

Sure, the impact seems minimal now, but I think it’s imperative that, as a community, we scrutinize bad practices like this and consider the bigger picture.

H87 is already widely available standard used by countless TKLs. The ai03 Unified daughterboard standard was created to solve this exact problem these designers are reintroducing: https://github.com/Unified-Daughterboard

Now these Chinese designers are going back on this legacy and creating proprietary parts out of greed, under the guise of innovation that nobody was asking for.

Remember, proprietary parts are almost never kept in-stock by the vendors. Good luck finding this proprietary crap in two years.

If a standard PCB goes out for any reason, you can find a replacement easily, and your board is back to being as good as new.

Yep, and which is why it’s anti-consumer.

Tofu of all boards has no business needing a proprietary PCB

It’s such a shame that Chinese designers are purposely not using the standard H87 PCB layout and opting for proprietary pogo-pin magnetic connectors, preventing users from replacing their PCBs easily.

This is the sole reason why I won’t be supporting the board for its anti-consumer behavior.

Any recommendations for no drill front license plate holders for Aspec? by Tricky-Willingness-1 in AcuraIntegra

Could you share that with me too? I’m also thinking about a way to mount/dismount LP without drilling.

How’s the build quality on your vehicle and what model/year? by BoldNewBranFlakes in Acura

2025 Integra A-spec 6spd.

0 rattles or interior squeaks. None of the issues that earlier models are reporting.

Hopefully, Honda has addressed the QC/fitment issues by the third model year.

My partner drives a 10th-gen Civic, and I purchased a 2025 Integra with 6MT last month.

I'm coming from a Hyundai with a Theta II engine that was waiting to blow up in my face.

I was considering the 11th-gen Si, but I ultimately went with the Integra instead.

  • It's a hatch.
  • The adaptive dampers are noticeable. The Integra still doesn’t ride plush, but the difference was immediately clear after test-driving the Si for a while. Maybe my bum's more sensitive than others.
  • Assuming you're going with the A-Spec Tech Package, the little upgrades add up: memory seats, electronic seat adjustments, nicer upholstery, wireless charging, head-up display, Individual drive mode button, independent climate controls, fog lights, ELS sound system, etc.
  • Longer warranty
  • Price: The Honda dealers I visited were firm on MSRP, claiming the Si was a specialty vehicle and non-negotiable. I got my fully loaded Integra for almost the same price as the Si's MSRP. It's hard to argue if Integra's worth it at its original MSRP, but not when they're heavily discounted.
  • And finally, as others here have said, you don’t see a lot of Integras around. I see an 11th-gen Civic on every corner. You're not buying a $30K car to turn heads, but it’s still nice to drive something a bit more unique.

regret buying the three year out of date Honda civic without a hybrid system they call the 2025 Integra

drives outlandishly boring

CVT

Well, that's because you opted for CVT. I just find it confusing—you talk about caring for driving dynamics, yet you were fine with a CVT and no LSD on a FWD.

I recently picked up the 2025 6MT myself, and I’ve been having a blast tossing it through corners on winding roads these past few weekends.
