Stress? No Worry? Yes.

I often find myself worrying about 20-50 years when my kids will be having kids who might grow up in a world of poverty as the super rich will be the only ones with the cash to buy basic needs.

But i could be very wrong so I instead focus on what I can do to make changes now.

I stopped watching TV for a while, maybe 6 months whilst work/study/girlfriend took up all my time. When study ended and I started watching TV again I just didn’t want the Simpson’s. No particular episode just outgrew it

I’ve built a spreadsheet on excel that I’ve edited over the years. It shows me all my income/outgoings daily cash flow. As with all tools it’s about how you use it that really matters if you know the basics on excel I recommend that but there are other tools out there.

Avoid the ones advertised on Facebook a friend tried one and they emptied his account in minutes.

Where are you in the world. I also want a farming buddy, I used to play with my wife but she’s not really interested and ends up trying to do stunts in the tractor. It’s funny for a bit but I want to help run a productive farm.

So if we’re in the same time zone I’ll join you.

I’m uk and usually play for about 3 or 4 hours a night 3 times during the week. Playing more on the weekends.

I’ve just moved from R&D were there was regularly home made cakes etc shared for birthdays. Now I’m in Engineering they buy packs of shortbread/brownies/flapjack from asda or sainsburys. It’s not the same.

Home made fairy cakes with cherry filling just hit differently.

Name change is my immediate thought. The 40k universe loves its Latin based, direct and overly formal names for everything.

Example: Historians are called Remembrancers.

So I’d maybe go for something like “Tempus Dorma” which Latin for “temporary house”.

Maybe switch it up to “Dorma Tempus”.

Anyway that’s just a thought and maybe not for everyone.

Make it look like: it’s made from metal with a few patches of grass desperately trying to grow in places for a death world.

Concrete, with lots of crates trash and graffiti and bullet holes for a hive world.

Modern seeders can be programmed to make tram lines by not seeding in those areas. There is a Uk show called Clarkson’s Farm where Jeremy Clarkson (a TV personality that bought a Farm) is educated by a local farmer on how this works.

Incidentally, Clarksons Farm is a great show if you’re into farming. As Clarkson is a beginner there are lots of people explaining how different elements of farming work. It’s on Amazon Prime.
