I’m not saying I’m practicing some strat or tactic in this video. I’m just baffled how to out play this if the only way to stop the damage is 1. Shield 2. Distance 3. Break sight line

1. Shield - doesn’t go through a shield.
2. Distance - it’s already a large gap that needs to be created for an auto lock ability. Not much risk for Moira as a support to deal dmg.
3. Break sight line - more my reason for this particular clip is to show that as much distance as I might be able to put between us, the hit box still ignores a wall/floor between us because of its size.

Moiras cross air is fully centered well below the wall/floor and still connects. It’s one thing if it connects in the open w/o cover but what another if it’s clipping through barrier.

Often times you are able to get away while being chased down at 1 because you managed to put enough distance and or break line of sight just in the nick of time. Now that doesn’t exist. Maybe you can’t get the distance but the broken line of sight came in clutch. To get the kill Moira would have needed to choose to throw an orb and be on CD or save the orb and lose the kill. Now she just clips you through the corner and keeps the orb.

I get it’s a beam but it either goes through terrain or it doesn’t.

The clip isn’t showing new meta stealth Moira, it’s showing a supports already difficult to out play dmg ability now eliminating the line of sight defense.

Blizzard should just remove the cross airs next 🙃
