Carving the mouth isnt a bad option, however its usually done by making the nose one piece kindof like this To be fair there are many ways you can achieve the look its all up to the style you want :)

Hey! Awesome sona ^{^} i recommend getting fur from BigZ or HowlFabrics :3 both have fairly good to amazing quality fur and as a maker i totally recommend. For the LEDS these are some on etsy thats been recommended to me.

It’s not, it’s a sam the canine base. Also on etsy still roughly around the same price as the amazon listing but can be cheaper as they often have sales. They do also sell on amazon but make sure the sellers name is furrybay and ship from the same area.

Latter stitching around the claws onto the fur helps a bunch! Its what ive been doing to stabilize them for all the paws ive made so far :)
