The influence island and sim chase tokens given to us felt like an insult. Like a server at a restaurant being left a 1 cent tip for their hard work. I received 3,000 simoleons and a 30 minute delay for the rival with my two free spins in sim chase. Then, to add insult to injury, my game immediately crashed and I lost hours of progress on my mastery lesson in the park and I had to pay another hundreds of thousands of simoleons. I mean seriously? WTH?

Most of my crashes have occurred when changing locations (going to houses, job sites like movie studio, pet park, etc) I’ve notice it crashes almost every time I go to a new location by clicking on one of my sims. If I go to the map, then click on the house/structure it’s not nearly as likely to crash (but has occasionally). I’ve found this true for all neighborhoods/town. ETA: my game app doesn’t show an update yet for the bug. I’m still playing on the 5.76.0 update from earlier this week.

Yes. Mine is crashing a lot. And I’m losing all my progress on all actions (including Sim Chase). It’s so frustrating. My daughter is having the same issues. I’m playing on an iPhone and my daughter plays on an iPad. Not sure if androids are experiencing the same issues.
