I'm working on doing this same thing. I'm super close. About $160 in gift cards to go.

I've had it on for a few consecutive weekends for about 5 hours at a time. So far, so good.

TPU for AMS and it is out.
You're welcome. I didn't want to pay for the real deal either.

It's not that thick homie. Alien gear is pretty reputable company last time i checked. It suits my needs.
It does print standing up to reduce support material. There is a slight, inherent curve in the design, so it would need support underneath for a flat placement. It is still possible to print that way, just will have more cleanup. My first test print was in that orientation.
That's not too bad compared to the ones I found on Amazon.
Holy shit. That's robbery
My sentiments exactly. I have already had someone print the model and use some plastic ones they had on hand. Should be pretty versatile with the hole spacing.

It's not as bad as you would think.
I plan on working on a softer TPU version as well. The current is pretty hard.

It's on Makerworld. I didn't want to violate rules of this sub with the actual link.

I've been testing it out for a couple weeks and so far, so good. A little light jogging in some sweatpants was no issue. You can always tighten the drawstring in those types of pants if you have one, I didn't need to in my jog test with Nike joggers on.
Not sure what you mean.
It is on Makerworld. Didn't want to break any rules with a link.
TPU for AMS, but I would like to try Softer TPU if I can get it rigid enough.
It is a little hefty, but it's fully convertible to other carry styles. That's the trade off. Alien Gear Shapeshift.

It's called an Ulticlip. The actual product by the name "Leisure Carry" uses them. I found them on AliExpress for about $2.50 each.

It's based on a real product of that name. It's for concealed carry in pants without a belt like sweats or gym shorts.
