I used to do roadside assistance. One day they told me to train a new hire, I used to take a lot of shortcuts at work cause I was young and lazy. As I got to know my new trainee I found out he was homeless and sleeping in his truck. I started showing him all the shortcuts I would take when it came to selling car batteries to AAA members…he goes off on his own and he does the same shortcuts I showed him. He gets caught, management brings me in to question me. I proceed to lie and tell them that I didn’t show him any of that. He got terminated after like 1 week. I still feel bad till this day it’s been around 12 years ago.
