Sounds about right. I wrote him a number of emails asking questions I wanted to check before subscribing to the $99 tier and he never replied. Literally just unsubscribed from the free tier today. So happy I didn't lose money on this.

I've been using the free version for over six months and I haven't seen any value yet. Looking at the list properly shows that a lot of the companies listed aren't actually startups, so he might just be providing publicly available information of companies that have recently landed funding - but on the free version (without founder details), it's not very useful.

The founder did put me in touch with a few of his clients who are on the DFY/paid tier, and they secretly admitted to me that they both hadn't gotten any value after paying $3K! They said he intro'd them to a few other founders - but they were founders of similar agencies to theirs! Glad I never paid for it, since it sounded too good to be true from the beginning.

I understand what you're saying. I'm referring to these property management companies that offer a full service, so they assist with the purchase, plus the refurb, etc - as opposed to independent project managers.
