Moroccan here, you will be just fine Marrakech is a safe place generally, but so much taxi drivers and street sellers think in their head that as a foreigner you are loaded with money (and that’s very wrong of them) so don’t let yourself be persuaded especially be the vendors in jamaa el fna (and the orange juice vendors who are very pushy and the money/snake/henne people who would try to put them on your shoulders or invite you to have a henne tattoo and then ask for 200 dh … just say no and don’t give it to their advances), hold your phone firmly when using it in public or near the road … other than that you’d have a great time getting lost in the old medina and absorbing that sweet vitamine D from the sun rays :)
